I can say as a wings fan, sharks were very good. BUT the series could have gone either way. Just because detroit lost, doesn't mean that they are bad.

Lol ur right. It's funny how on television for hours they were talking about how it hit the partition. Looking at the shape of the partition it seems physically impossible for the puck to bounce off at such an angle. I feel bad for every sharks player who was on the ice at the time ...

I'm so sick of people saying "that goal was just lucky wah wahwah". with how hard both teams were fighting in that extra 35 minutes (which is a long fucking time - you could see them flagging quite a bit), someone had to get lucky to end the game. plus, the Nucks were already up a game. CLEARLY the better team won.

Ruins' ALWAYZ choke. Always. If they DO make it out of this round, they'll be playing a VERY balanced team and they are also lucky that Malhotra is out because he is the best faceoff man in the NHL... If VAN gets Manny back, look for a quick series. Ruins' horseshoe is dangling by a thread and the sewage treatment plant is ready to filter it out... Just like Raymond "Pork" had to get traded to an All-Star team to win a cup, most of the Ruins' will face the same fate.

It's a shame. I used to really like watching Boston. But when that racist Con Don Cherry came along and called EVERYONE on my team Pittsburgh a "baby, whiner, crybaby, wussie, diver, etc. it left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth. He did this with Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Ovechkin etc. However, when Bobby Orr complained about HIS back bothering him, oddly enough, he was NOT considered a baby. Hmmm. Interesting isn't it?

Between the players I mentioned (minus Orr and Obitchkin), there are 7 Stanley Cups between them. The objective in hockey is to win. Which they have all done (minus Obitchkin). If the objective was to play ONE GAME in the NHL because of an injury to another player via a call-up, then Don Cherry would be at the top. Cherry is right at being racist. Then, in the 1991 playoffs, I seem to remember a MAJOR knee on knee collision with Cam Kneely by Ulfie which ultimately, was part of the reason why he had to retire. There was a game that Mario was in and Don the Con sat in his racist Maple Leaf Gardens and called Mario "the biggest floater in the NHL..." Well, Don, they didn't pay him >$10 Million per season to block shots.
