  • hey man i ask what company you work for if it ok?

  • @Xperiments101 I did work for MDS at the time of this video

  • looks like your rolling thru Ky. or Tenn. ....and yeah.."safely this time" as u said...next time u might not be so lucky...but no one ever wants to see a semi that's wrecked.

  • I was driving a truck with a little 300 HP cat in it on a hill and there are signs all over saying left lane closed ahead (constrution) so i am in the right lane with my foot to the floor and cars behind me and this truck tries to pass me and ends up running over a bunch of safety cones and stopping in the left lane. So this truck catches up to me later and gives me the bird !!!

  • @packrat541 Man, I don't miss those problems, overpopulation is causing major break downs of the human mind kind

  • my truck is set at 65, but I cruise at 64. That way if I run up on a truck doing 1/2 mile an hour faster, I throttle up to pass 'em at 65. And these days you've gotta respect a slow approaching truck behind you. If they go for the pass, let off the throttle for a few and let 'em get around you.

  • @tigbomtom yes that is a good idea on one hand, but one of the trucks that you passed awhile back will be in the unit train and come back for a pass at a half mile an hour then you're right back where ya started

  • I feel your pain my 63mph truck is fine but when I come up on someone who's doing about 62.5 and they won't slow down just a bit and let me get on around them I usually get the assholes wanting to shoot out to the right and pass me before I can get over. it sucks I don't want to jump over where my rear is inches away from the front of another truck but if I let one guy out to the right all the other lemmings will go too.

  • hi trukertwotimes you soo lokito ahahaha.. stay safe on the road..pls

  • wow, in the UK were limited to 56mph tops, some companys even limit the trucks to 50mph to save fuel!

  • @IIMRTHEILII

    FUCK THAT XD

  • How much you want for them sunglasses?

  • my truck runs 134 i kik back at 92 just love the hek out of it

  • never have a problem with my VNL780 :D passes like no ones business Cummins ISX550HP and a fuller 18sp :D ive had her up to 110 MPH but I never go that fast lol 23 and I still only go as fast as 80 MPH 90 when passing large rows of trucks

  • Happened to me more times than anything else, u can overtake him, then u run outta hill!! Drove me crazy! Your company should get you out of that truck and put you in a TEERUK (kenworth, or peterbilt). lol

  • i had a trucker i was trying to pass that kept on speeding up on me everytime i was almost done and w/o getting pissed and yelling at him on cb i just got on the cb and told him his fuel cap was off and splashing fuel and he pulled over to fix it and solved my problem. It wouldn't be so stressful if other truckers would slow up a little when you're passing them instead of being ass holes. i do it for them when they take awhile to pass me. Keep up the cool vids and stay safe.

  • @Dieseldemen Good thinking, that was a good idea

  • @Dieseldemen I once had a truck that was doing that to me. For 90 miles I was patient with him/her. I was to the point of trying to run him/her off of the road. I figured that wouldn't be very realistic with me being in small Toyota car and him/her being in a truck with a 53'' trailer. So I finally passed the douche on the shoulder and tossed a whole gallon of white oil based paint out of the window onto their black and shiny truck. The punk deserved it. Then I took the nearest exit and ran. LOL

  • @mirk1500 wow shit. Very bold!! I wouldn't of done that. At least in my work truck LOL!!! But it is so fucking stupid. Why the hell do people ride next to each other for miles and block the damn road. Not only is it stupid but very dangerous. Im worried about a tire blowing with someone riding next to me and then i get blammed for causing them to crash.

  • @Dieseldemen i totally agree with you trucker, its a waste of time for everyone not to give way to someone, it slows everyone down and just backs traffic up

  • @bubblesleru thanks alot. yeah its hard really to make a good case out of bitching about a governed truck to anyone. really everyone is like just slow down and follow but most of the time that's a hazzard too. getting stuck behind some slow dumbass who can't drive but won't let you pass will most likely cause you time and money and in good chances an accident. and passing them dumbass people is a big hazzard aswell when your truck is there for miles and then the idiot swerve's into you.

  • @Dieseldemen or in on case I experienced I could run faster on the flat behind a slower truck and after taking all I could of that steeped out to pass and here comes a little hill, so we end up drag racing, a van driver behind me in the hammer lane swung back into the right lane and passed my roadblock then swerved in front of me so hard he almost ran into the median, he was really mad I guess, anyhow I don't do trucking anymore, these folk can haul their own groceries and beer

  • @truckertwotimes i wish i could get out of it but i am a tanker driver hauling Gas and Diesel and it pays really good but it's so stressful with these idiots out here. I wouldn't know what to do as another career option. Especially that pays this good!

  • I never understood why when I was passing, the truck in the right would not slow down a bit and let me pass. When I was driving and realized a driver wanted to pass me and I was the slower truck, I would just slow down to 60 for while, let him pass and get down the road a bit before increasing my speed. It was less stressful on both of us.

  • This is right on the money, I have always wondered why a company buys this Trucks with this powerful engines and then cut then back, if you can't trust the man driving it, get rid of him, plain and simple, these engines are set from the factory to run like there built to, then when you start messing with them it cannot perform the way it was meant to, bottom line if load were set up on legal time line a driver could drive the speed limit, and be much safer , and have the power to pull hills

  • good video bro ^^

    i love trucks

  • my truck is locked at 65 mph. Since in quebec any truck must be locked at 65 by law. In a way i don't mind, saves some speeding tickets. just lay that hammer on the floor and 65 she goes! lol just sucks you can't get no swing for them hills in the northest US, thats where i run all the time. take care and hammer down Trucker Two Time! Got a question for ya, Have you ever seen yellow and red JE Fortin trucks when your in the northeast? Thats the company i run for.

  • Bleh, if you're goin faster than the guy in front of you take that left lane. Doesn't matter if they start to pull ahead again. The 4-wheelers can just deal with it.

  • great video

  • yeah, that is a pain in the neck, not having the ability to just get a simple pass done in a timely manner.

This one just posted went smooth, but it's the ones that hang you out that make you stress it each time

  • I didn't direct that at you TTT. I love your vid's. I just can't stand drivers that get stressed out. It's drivers that get stressed about situations that cause accidents, and are the biggest hazards on the road. They get stressed and worried over something small, then they make bad decisions/ overreact, and cause accident's.

Just stay calm, and relaxed and think about what you need to do when the moments come.

Sorry to post 3 times. Stupid character limit :)

    All the best TTT!

  • As for being stressed about passing, I don't know why. If you can pass, you can pass. If you can't you can't. There is no need getting stressed over it.

If he started to pass you, then just let off the accelerator a bit, (Don't drop your speed to much, just enough for him to pass you a bit faster.) Then get back over into the right lane.

I never understand people that get stressed over driving. There is nothing to be stressed about. The one's that get stressed, are the biggest hazards.

  • @TruckerDoug - I hope you don't really put your brakes on while driving on the highway. It can be a hazard. I personally can't stand drivers that keep hitting their brakes while driving. It's a needless thing to do. If you see that that your catching up to the vehicle in front of you, just let off the gas before you catch up to them. Don't wait to catch up to them, and then hit your brakes.

  • I lay back on my stool in god's country, life is great. No stress required, just back out and let the knuckle heads keep on a steppin'.

  • Whoops. I meant to click the thumbs up. Thats the attitude ya gotta have.

  • @Whitelinefilms

is that for truckers or people who hate truckers?

  • You nailed it on the head Jeff. Governed trucks are the biggest pain in the ass, luckily ours are governed at 70 so I dont run into that too much but it does put ALOT of stress on you

  • Try driving a 62mph governed tractor......

Its enough to drive dr. phil mad.

  • another good one 5*

  • I try to pick a clear stretch of road behind and in front of me and just put my foot into it. Good videos my friend.

  • Could I get a translator here. WTF didja say?

  • weeeeeeeeeeee doggie

    Jeff u get 5 stars.

  • AWESOME SHADES

  • Yeah instead of truck driver I feel like a professional elephant racer.

  • Man don't I know the feeling. Mine"s sitting at 60, and if there is a hill I don't pass nothing. All I do now is hold up traffic. BTW don't let the members of trucknet see this, you'll only get'em started again.

  • T2Xs movin on!

loved the hanging in the left lane comment

    Keep them coming Jeff

  • Wow. .....video of excellent definition, you that program usi for the assembly?

  • like usual...no comment.

you always make only good joob;)

  • annother great vid twotimes =)

  • It's not you you have to worry about..

It's those damn Sunday drivers who can't get a clue and get over so everybody can pass them.

I'd rather be behind you then behind a Sunday driver..

Those guys really piss me off!!

  • Hang in there TTT cuz all that matters at the end of the day is if u get to your destination safe n sound!! If u can do that then you've had a great day and are ready 4 the next:)

    ~Keep on truckin!!

  • Try not to let stress get to you too much, buddy. It will give you a heart attack. Take it as it comes, at least you can still go trucking. I guess it's hard but you'd better make every day look like a lovely day in the neighborhood, won't you beeee my neighborrrrrr... You like that song, don't you?

  • I love my wide open KW I was driving a 64mph truck before and passing anything was a pain in the ass, with OH and IL putting the speeds up to 65 and going Midwest more its nice being able to run with the 4 wheelers!

  • I just got a new truck that only go,s 63 mph on cruse and balls to the walls 65mph. So I stay a 63 and most cars and trucks go around me. It bugs me a little, my old truck went 72 mph. But the new truck is reliable, has a kick ass radio and air conditioning will blow me out of the truck. Like you said, Trucking has it trade offs.

  • Hello George, thanks for the audio btw, got it saved in me listener email folder so's I won't misplace it, that slow truck won't be so bad out there in the wide openness it's around lots of entrance ramps it would be dangerous and stressful whilst you are trapped in the right lane

  • @truckertwotimes take it you're not restricted over there? we're limited to 56mph in the UK.... the only way ya get above 56 is by dipping the clutch downhill but I've never done that of course... lol

  • Love the videos, U back to pulling dry vans again?

  • Thank Ya, yep back pulling dry vans

  • Time for us an ol timey drag race.!

  • I hate governed trucks. I had an in-frame rebuild done to Sid's 350 Cummins and I wound up taking him back 3 times to get the injectors turned up so I could DRIVE as fast as I need to.

  • Looks like he wasn't a dick like some can be. He at least let you back in.

  • I think you left IRT before they turned us down and it sucks now! Most of the trucks run only 64 or 65 mph, so i feel your pain.. Who are you driving for now?

  • I'm with MDS. What is IRT doing about their idle time, fuel and mileage bonus now with them slow trucks? Did they cut it out?

  • LOL in ontario all the trucks have to be governd at 105 km now since last month all trucks with ontario plates are always neck and neck on the highway now no one can pass unless your on a hill and the other trucks got a heavier load.

  • Man, that is a sure heart attack building from the stress, a driver should be able to sue those involved with the run of the mill governed speed if they have a stress related heart attack eh

  • Before long them dummys are gonna have us all set at 68mph. THAT will be a Bi+ch

  • yea, I think they ought to set the four wheelers at 60 mph to help with the project eh

  • Thank you for another Truckertwotimes lesson in trucking, I will catch you Later.

  • stress if your rig is governed al 65 or 73 i have no problems passing with my wide open 03 pete 100 mph wide open never done 100 but on i-80 in nebraska i had it doing 93 passing a bunch of 65 mile an hour slow pokes on a 75...

  • your cool now.... blow a steer doing 93. See ya brag then.

  • Don't you just love those long junctionless roads, be them turnpikes, freeways, motorways, autobahns or autoroutes?

  • if we had nice, strate and wide road as that here i would be a happy man.

  • HEY HEY... you was doing the passing instead of the other way around.... I knew you could do it....lol
