Also - every talking head is inept at providing insight in some form or another if they stay on air long enough. It's the nature of the beast. Barkley remains one of the most popular, well liked, and well perceived in the media. And clips like this are exactly why.

Nothing you said has any merit. Charles did not make the conversation political, he simply called Tucker Carlson an idiot (which he is - just because you have a soapbox doesn't mean you're intelligent or worthy of that podium) and maintained that he was fired because he sucks at his job (also true - he's a regular on the network carousel of political pundits i.e. hot air balloons).

Regardless of your opinion - people like and listen to Barkley. They find him funny and they want to hear his take on matters - social, basketball, the like.

If you have an issue with that, write a letter to Ted Turner. Barkley was well within his right.
