Fantastic work - thanks for posting this. I saw them in Melbourne in October - Steve Winwood was support for the tour and he joined them for lead vocals on this as the finale. Incredible stuff. Seeing this has brought it all back so clearly.

This song brought the house down when I first saw Steely Dan live in April 1974 at the University of Toledo. During the long instrumental outro Fagen left his keyboards and conducted the band with upraised arms like a true rock 'n' roll maestro. Skunk and Denny on lead guitars, Jim Hodder and Jeff Porcaro on separate drum kits, Michael McDonald on keyboards and backing vocals. Best touring band in the world that year.

I'm a Dan fan for almost 35 years... I buy Gaucho like 5 times becuase the vinil got weary... I remember reading their letters and thinking "they're to deep for me"... now that I speak better english (It's not my motherlanguage) I discover that they're "deep" for you also... high in the custerdome... :-)

I find it very frustrating that you dont keep those gorgeous back up singers in the picture for the whole video-- much easier on the eyes than Harrington grimmacing in pain as he plays-- oh and the girls move very well too,,,, just a little critique from a fan ,,,and this is the most I have EVER heard Carolyn sing solo for the Dan-- great!! Hope they feature her MORE !!!

Frankstareye - I remember them at Hammersmith Apollo in 09, Elliot Randall made a cameo to play on Reelin' and Kid Charlemagne. The crowd went ballistic... best concert I've ever seen. SD even had a stage-diver!
