i had one that looked just like that! i got her for my 8th birthday and we had to put her down they day before my 16th birthday. it was the day after christmas. this dog reminds me of her soo much
my sheltie was 15 and still wanted to play fetch and was always running around it was amazing the engery he still had but his kidneys failed and even though he kept wanting to play we couldnt get him to eat so he had to be put down so he wouldnt suffer
@40Bethy My beloved Sheltie soul mate died in September. I started going to a Pet Loss (death) Support Group at my County Animal Humane Society, but it's still really hard to cope with his loss. I miss him so badly (tears)...
@John1MN my heart goes out to you about loosing your sheltie they are great dogs and buddies they will follow you anywhere and unlike people are totally loyal which makes it all the harder when you loose them
awww so cute. i have a sheltie that looks eactly like yours, but older. He has quite the story too because before we got him at the shelter, he was abused. He was shot with BB's, burned, and kicked. We got him the day he was gonna be put to down at the shelter and he was so shy. Now, he has a crooked jaw from when he was abused, he isnt the brightest dog, B U T he is the nicest and cuddliest dog i have ever seen in my life and he is doing a lot better and he is a very happy and energetic dog. =3

aww my shelties was the same colours as her I just put him down last month after 12 years its hard to loose them
