While I like the idea of the gears actually spinning and such, Sir, steampunk is so much more. You cannot simply slap things on wherever you wish, there is an aesthetic, very precisely a Victorian aesthetic, which values both the beauty of a thing and its function. What you've created has questionable beauty and is not functional, one ought to at the very least be able to actually see through ones goggles. C+/B- for effort, but certainly not a passing grade for execution.

It was great hearing Abney Park's music in your video. They seem to be a friendly band and and I will be seeing them at the second annual Steamcon here in Seattle. I Other than the bathroom humour, I thought the video was well done, but I would suggest that some movement be added to the airship model. The model looked obvious to my eye mainly because there were no small details moving at all, including the slightly deflated airbag and the rigging.
