that is really strange, i click on hd and charles shakes like crazy. i know that sometimes computer can't handle hd-videos but mine certainly can, i even render and edit hd-videos on it myself. 1,8 GHz Intel i7 and 4 GB ram should be able to handle that right? i am really concerned now that something is broken in my computer all of a sudden - does anybody have this shaking-video-issue here as well??

I've never really been able to tell much of a difference between the 480, 720, and 1080. It seems the quality of the user's camera has the biggest impact on the quality of the video. I imagine it does something because the loading time is noticeably different but I've never really been able to tell much past 480. I will say that anything below 480 seems to make a more noticeable difference.
