This song really describes me. I'm 13,fairly skinny,but I have short hair and everyone that I meet calls me a guy. (and I mean EVERYONE) when I went to a basketball camp,no one would talk to me or want to be partners with me the whole time I was there. I was heartbroken. But you know what? I kept believing that God made me special for a reason,so I'll keep limping through the real world and pray that everyone will notice the girl inside me. :)

@McCaskill89 thats not true society has shown, mostly girls, that women cannot be beautiful without make up which isn't true it. this is how it relates to God, he dosn't make mistakes and he made each and everyone of us. which means none of us no matter what we look like are anything less than Him. Women need encouragement mainly in this area (trust me im a guy in color guard i hear about this all the time) girls and women never hear how beautiful that by themselves enough

@McCaskill89 we know that God loves us just the way we are, but its hard sometimes when the WHOLE world tells us we have to live up to a certain standard to be considered pretty. the first time i heard this i cried. and being 15, this song REALLY helps keep me on the right track in high school, and not faking it all to fit in. because then my focus is on impressing others and not God (Galatians 1:10). its like a reminder that Gods opinion is the only one that matters:)
