  • what atune from the best decade in music as far as i am concerned they dont make them like this any more i just remember listening to all the old 80s in my room on things like pick of the pops etc love it love it love it

  • To be quite honest, I don't care who actually sang this song. All I care about is that was made! It's a great tune (from an era I sorely miss). To this day, whenever I hear this song it makes me happy, and want to dance. Reminds me of simpler times... Who cares that Jimmy McShane was gay! And it's sad that he died of AIDS, but that doesn't change the fact that this was a great song. Let the poor man Rest In Peace!!!

  • OMG. That is EXACTLY how a dance and sing when I'm groovin' by myself in my room. XD

  • Oh my god! He was pulling a Millie Vanilli on us ... all the was to the end.

  • The really shocking thing was not that he died from AIDS, but that he was actually merely a dancer from Ireland who lip-synched all the Baltimora songs. The real singer was an Italian producer who was the real figure behind Baltimora.

  • Maurizio Bassi was the real singer. He found Jimmy working as an EMT in the Red Cross apparently.

  • I had completely forgotten about this one. Haven't heard it in many years. It's great.

  • baila como luis miguel

  • why would it matter if he was gay? there's nothing wrong with that. i don't get why so many make a big deal about such meaningless and trivial things that a person can't even choose. it's very sad to see all the ignorance and hate. he was a good person and this is an awesome song.

  • I agree with you full-heartedly my friend

  • Is not his voice,he was used for his looks and dance, like Milli Vanilli

  • Legendary Totally 80's Dope Masterpiece!!

  • but most singers in the 80's were very girly even punk rockers like Poison.

  • So true, this song is awesome. This had to be one of the best 80's songs ever. Man this song RULEZ

  • He was gay.

  • this song was awesome!

  • by any chance was he slightly effeminate like most 80s singers ?

  • for some reason i always think of the crocodile hunter whenever i hear this

  • Jajaja!! I Like this video♥

  • je t'aime mon philou d'amour ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • este tipo se murio de sida no?

  • Comment removed

  • Si. El se murio de SIDA en la 29 de Marzo 1995. El eras 37 años. :(

  • a kioras ?

  • wow, so 80's...great flamboyant time. And I really wonder why homophobic people find themselves here. THEY WOULD NEVER EVER FIND ME IN SPORTS POST OR ULTRA HETERO POST...BECAUSE i HAVE NO DESIRE TO WATCH SUCH HORMONAL AND REPETITIVE ACTIVITIES. oH, AND YES THIS IS TO BETSY MY FAVORITE DANCER IN NDT!!!

  • classic 80s

  • I have this upstairs somwhere in a box on vinyl. Gotta get a usb turtable and bust out these old classics.

  • Reminds me of high school in South Africa. This song was played at all clubs. Great one!!

  • kochane wspomnienia:)To była muza:)Extra:)

  • nice song but man he was a fag

  • and you know by personal experiance?

  • Ok ok, so maybe he get AIDS from woman.

  • ok ok, so maybe you're an ignoramus with a weak grasp on facts that ring true in the real world.

  • Why?

  • Great ! Great ! Great ! dance tune ! I remember "holding out" for the hottest blonde till the D.J. played this song and I never got turned down for the dance. I had mixed feelings when I found out ELTON JOHN was gay, but we all have one life and sex is such a personel choice I say: "get yo freak on for better or worse" RIP Jimmy McShane

  • Maurizio Bassi was the man who did all the composing and singing. The person who was the 'front' of Baltimora was Jimmy McShane.

Jimmy McShane was born on May 23rd 1957 in Northern Ireland and died on March 29th 1995 as a result of AIDS. The first Baltimora release, Tarzan Boy, was a massive hit in Europe and even made it in the USA (very few acts have been able to achieve this!). Rest In Peace, Jim!

  • May he rest in peace. I didn't know he was dead , that was a fantastic song.

  • No doubt about it, this SONG ROCKS! The Techno Beat is fantastic, the vocals are smooth, and background vocals are awesome. "This song shows up best among it's decade." I LOVE THIS SONG! It should be programmed into everyone's I TUNE, CD player, and SIRIOUS ON DEMAND! Go Baltimora!

  • one of the nice songs i have ever listened.

  • This song is an amazing song! I never new it existed until. I heard the beginning of it on Beverly hills ninja. Then I discovered it just a couple weeks ago and now i don't go a day without listening to it. There is some debate about the singer. Some says it was not Jimmy Mcshane but some Italian guy who actually sang all of baltimoras songs. I don't care who sang this song it is incredible!

  • Yes, he was italian, he died few years ago in a car accident.

  • whoa he died? aww man, this guy made some awesome songs. RIP Jimmy

  • Yeah, he died from AIDS back in 1995. :(

  • magnífico,nota 1000.

  • Kinda Gay!! He died from AIDS later on. Too bad, because he was a good singer.

  • TEMAZOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG I had been searching for this song for a while until one of my colleagues tell me the name. I remeber when it was used in a Listerine commercial.

  • This song rocks !

  • I remember when it was on the radio!! LOL!

  • and I remember when it came out in Ninja Turtles 3:)

  • I LURVE THIS SONG!! :)

  • wow what a great song tarzen boy looking sooo great....

  • SE STRINJAM Z MARBUSE321

  • I luv this song. Awesome.

  • I miss the days when you could listen to music and not be worried about all the swearing and sex. At least you can hear what he's singing about.

  • Swearing and sex huh? Well There'z no Swearing in the video I agree...But am I the only one that was violated by watching this visual train wreak!! I mean damn....DAMN!!

  • LOL...fortunately they didn't play the videos at the clubs when they played the music. That would have totally thrown off my game.

  • U said it...it'z still a decent song tho'.

  • It's none of my monkey business, but did he also do the entire video all on his own, on a Sunday afternoon?

  • I agree - there was absolutely no marketing machine behind him. It's amazing that the song sounds so phenomenal if it also didn't have any production geniuses massaging it. This guy looks silly, and that's not a good image for the song. It limited the song's potential

  • Great hit back then and still nice to listen to today
