The reason why u can not speak in court is because u are represented by a lawyer. when u are represented u legally are considered by the court as and INFANT or MENTALLY UNFIT to handle your own legal affairs ( a WARD of the state). The lawyers # 1 duty ( Prosecutor and defense) is to the court and not to the client. Courts, Police dept., Cities, Municipalities, City Counsels,etc are all incorporated, they are corporate creatures for the purpose of profit.

Very sad to see this. Although not criminal I am going thru the same thing after a car accident. Trying to get answers from your attorney is like pulling teeth. Adult legal "professionals" jaded by their time in service don't give the common person a chance. Ignorance, intimidation, head games all to silence you for standing up for yourself.
