@icereaper88 Cutting through a neck may as well be cutting through a tree, imagine the time and effort it would take to use a six inch, smooth bladed knife too slice through a persons neck, spine and all, if you're facing down a single one and you get the drop on it, I'd say stabbing it in the base of the neck might sever the spinal cord if you use both hands, but I would say unless you're willing to stab them in the eye, fixed blade knives are pretty much a death sentence.

The fixed blade knife could be an affective zombie killing tool. You could try and penetrate either the temples, eyes, or ears. Even the back of the neck would suffice. But those are some small openings on an undead's body but there are still possible weak spots. I'd give a the fixed blade knife a check+ on an affective zombie killing tool.
