Macs have always been better and had these capablities years before PC's. People are just now getting around to being able to doing things Mac users have been doing for years without all the viruses, hassles, and frustrations. Don't criticize things you know nothing about.

Ever since Apple switched to Intel, PCs have been able to run OSX with some minor tweaks. So why would anyone need a mac? In fact you can run 3 operating systems. Linux, Windows and OSX. Apple just uses the word "PC" to refer to Windows when in fact a PC isn't a computer limited to one brand name. They just act like their machine is unique when it is just a PC that tries to hide the fact that it's a PC through whole "Windows computer" mislabeling bullshit.

Those problems such as viruses and spyware are Windows problems not PC problems. You can use a different OS. Just because Apple calls their PCs "Macs" and doesn't give you the option of replacing the OS with another one doesn't make it in any way superior to a PC.

For what its worth, I'm a 3rd year Information Technology student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a lifetime PC user. I switched to Apple at the beginning of Summer '06 and couldn't be happier with my decision. For me personally, I prefer the 'candy coated' Unix world that Mac OSX provides me(and yes am very affluent with unix) rather than the possibility of running Ubuntu, Fedora, Windows, GNOME, etc. I wanted a UNIX based OS and good hardware, thats why I switched.
