Unfortunately sleeping is an escape from anxiety, and she needs to get help and be treated more promptly so she can function like a normal human being.
@SkullyHippie It just frustrates me that she doesn't force herself to get out of bed. That's what I did when I was really depressed. I know everyone is different, though.
She's obviously got the therapist wrapped around her little finger, and the therapist is being EXTREMELY unprofessional.
I think she needs to be removed and placed elsewhere, its not healthy for anyone in that sort of environment.
It might really suck, but not doing her chores and letting it stack up is the best thing I'd think you could do, maybe do it occasionally, but not frequently.
That way they see how she's acting, maybe they can get her help.
When someone's delusional, trying to use logic/reason/arguments to convince them otherwise just doesn't work. So, e.g. staff might quite appear to not be challenging her delusions - even if/when they know they're delusions. Delusions are a quite complex and tricky thing to treat ... and there isn't like some simple med that generally takes care of delusions or paranoia generally (though some meds, etc. might more indirectly help that).
Sounds like she's paranoid delusional, and also probably depressed or something with depression in the mix. Maybe changes in meds or bipolar or something roughly like that would also explain some of her changes in moods/actions. Not that that makes things better for you, etc., but maybe more understandable. And staff might guess incorrectly who's telling what's true, and what's not - especially when the one telling it believes it to be true - even if it's not. ...
