Now that the lawyers are involved the details seem to have changed. It was first reported John hit the guy with a beer bottle and that the dispute was over a woman. Of course, John should have been engaged around that time and got married soon after so who knows. Either way, I like John but he's just a little too cocky about this situation and needs to settle down. He'd be much more popular if he leaned more towards being a lover rather than a fighter.
