I watched this movie on TCM on plain old cable tv about 3 months ago. I've been watching for it to repeat so I can video tape it. If you like this, you would also like flirtation walk about west point. Also set in the 30's before world war II. Also stars Ruby Keeler. Its a fun flick utterly lacking in cynicism and chuck full of idealism Bob M

The "1st Wing" and "2nd Wing" at 8:21 should be 3rd and 4th Wing -- there was no 1st or 2nd wing. Look at the T-court shot at 8:18 and 9:18

The Capt at 4:19, while not Capt Klunder, does have some resemblance to Chuck Larson.

Also, loving the commentaries. But with Dewey Field, where are the first classmen going to park their cars?
