This ride is actually pretty amazing, it doesn't look high or fast at all, but it really is a fantastic ride.

This reason WindSeeker's pods were not swinging properly was due to the pods not carrying passengers. The weight difference between the filled/empty pods causes excessive swaying, which is why Cedar Point does all they can to fill every seat.

That ride was way too short. What happened to big thrill rides that you can actually enjoy?? I swear, The Gemini is one of the oldest but one of the best coasters at C.P. It's alot longer than most and you race against another coaster side by side. Awesomeness!!!

When I was at the park about 3 days ago, this ride got stuck at the top for about 30 minutes (I was in line for wicked twister the whole time it was stuck) with a full load of passengers on it.

Windseeker will be closed a lot I bet - High winds at 300 feet is a big issue on a swing ride such as this, but also.. Think about Lake Erie high winds that come off the water? I sense this ride being down a good bit - Maybe that's just me?

They should have just used fixed timing and proper gear for the seats to open this ride safely . I mean , looking at this ride already freaks me out! I mean look! Well if anyone remembers the original swing rides they always bumped and you could kick and push the other riders away (that was part of the fun), but obviously the physics haven't changed now that its on a larger scale. It's an issue they need to look into especially in states they've installed them where there are very high winds....oh and the music makes it even creepier too!

That's crazy. If the ride performs this way in heavy winds, maybe the ride shouldn't be named "windseeker" as it can't handle the winds? It was as ironic as a ride at Great America named "Survivor" that spent a lot of its days down (as in not being able to survive a day of operation).

This ride should have NOT been open whatever day this was taken. You can really hear the wind on the camera and this is ON the ground, and up there that high, it is even more windy. An employee should have E-stopped this thing, and the park should have shut the ride down for the day. I have just been on it 4 times, and it was never doing stuff like this, and it was windy up in the sky, but NOT this windy on the ground.

I went on Windseeker opening day (at night) IT WAS SOOOOO AWESOME! The seats are surprisingly comfortable. The veiw was amazing, I can't wait for it next year! The problem for opening day was that the line went all the way to Disaster Transport. It was still daylight out when I got in line, when I was off it was pitch black. The light show on the barsis cool =) THUMBS UP IF YOU RODE IT WITHIN THE OPENING DAYS!!!

I was at the park the entire day Monday and part of the day Tuesday, never got to ride it, but I did see it running and captured a video of it as I was leaving Monday night. Shucks, but its a 4/5 ride unlike the 5/5 "very aggressive" for the other thrill rides and major coasters.

@jephsteph We're not sure if that is something that will get fixed. I believe they installed padding on the front of each seat in case they bump. I'm sure it's been determined to be safe if they are opening it.

@bigntasty420 i think its because on the way up, they swing out and they can't help it due to centrifugal force, but on the way down its the opposite, and the swings are slowing down, so they can't help but swing in both direction's
