  • and it's Gratzer, not Grotzer.

  • This is with Terry Luttrell, if I'm not mistaken.

  • @marcpierini Actually, it's Kevin Cronin. Terry Luttrell helped write it when he was briefly with the band, but this is definitely Kevin on the vocals. It's from the live album and when it first came out my buddies and I would listen to it during our herbal therapy sessions.

  • Best album they EVER put out! Sadly they went bubblegum.

  • Awsome band, awsome song

  • :)

  • RICHRATH MAKE THAT GUITAR TALK MY OPINION ONE OF THE BEST GIUTAR PLAYERS OUT THERE SOMEONE SAID SLASH !! NOT EVEN CLOSE RICHRATH ,BLACKMORE ,WALSH YES BUT NOT SLASH !!!! BUT IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN A CHILD WHO DOESNT KNOW AGE KICKS ASS !!!! KEEP ON CLASSSIC ROCKIN PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @drawblood1119 totally agree. One of the best guitars of his time. Wouldnt let Slash carry his guitar to the stage

  • @drawblood1119 you have to put the best at the top of that list,Frank marino.but i agree bout slash,he can't carry any of these guys' case.Keep rockin :)

  • i love all music. modern day & classic, country & rap, dubstep & metal, you name it i like it..

lets skip the opera type music though

  • 157 is an emirp! An emirp is a prime number that is another prime number when read backwards.

  • I was born in 62. anything they put out after tuna fish just plain sucked. could be why gary left the band.

  • @grabbermavman

THANK YOU!!! FINALLY SOMEONE TO AGREE WITH ME!!!

I HAVE SAID THIS OVER THE YEARS....

AFTER TUNA FISH, IMHO, THEY SOLD OUT TO POP ROCK!!!

THEY USED TO BE CLASSIC ROCK & ROLL!!!

  • A lot of great memories before they became too pop!! I can't fight this feeling etc,!!! Barf!!!!!

  • Saw them 4 times in the late 70's early 80's . Gary was the best. Kinda pissed me off when they walked off stage 15 mins. before midnite on a new years eve concert. Still love em!

  • Just the other day........You remember that?

  • i had never heard of reo speedwagon except for a few times from my mom... i was born in '96, and im not used to this kind of music... my mom talked me and my brother into going to the concert with her, and so we did. i was so into it! i wish i knew the words so i could sing along... but ever since then, ive been obsessed. i know almost every word, and i love reo !!! :)

  • I was about 17 when I heard this song...OMG how it changed my life. I'm now approaching 50 and it still makes my blood flow, stand up, and play "Air-Guitar"!

  • C'mon....Think about it. Here you have a song with great keybords and Gary plays that guitar like few others...CLASSIC...!!!

  • I bougth this album shortly after its release. Double album...Great, I can clean my weed on it so it holds double value. There is NOT one bad song on this thing. Each and every song is a "Classic". REO rocked the HOUSE on this one.

Just wished they would have stayed with "ROCK-N-ROLL" rather than have gone to the ballads. None the less they were AWESOME!

  • @SuperLiftRick

    Could not agree any more!!!

  • St Louis Mo can be a complicated town,.... that was the old stoffers river front inn! The restaurant went around 1 time per hr.! the business men used to change booths so they could watch the baseball game at Busch stadium !

  • When is this album /Cd going to get updated like all the other music out there. There are a lot of old REO fans that miss this sound!!!

  • This brings back a lot of great memories!! Saw them in 1977 Solider Field Super Bowl of Rock these guys jammed!!!

  • @johnnyw12 I was there too! killer show!!

  • REO at there best!!

  • come ooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn........

  • Just got a message from Bruce Hall, and someone has an application to demolish that house at 157 Riverside Ave.

  • Alright all you married foke out there. Turn this jam way up and let your spouse now your still alive and kicking!!! Then when says "What the hell are you doing" you can say "Baby I just got good taste in music, just like I do in women". You might just get that spark back.

  • I would be sad if you ever take this video down:( Anyhoo, thanks for your great uploads. One of my top 100 songs ever forrrr sure!!!! Have a good one. Later

  • im gonna do this in my rock band class my senior year im vocals/rhythm/solo guitar

  • driving music

  • She was lovely I was lonely, she said can I make Love to you , I said ahh 157 Riverside Avenue

  • The Little Queenie version on this album is the best, but it was left off the CD. I can't find it on you tube.Anybody know where I can find it?

  • This was the best Live album I ever owned. I have had it in album. cassette and cd and now mp3. LOL It is a classic that I can never be without!!!

  • REO FOREVER...

  • Remember sharing a little crafty smoke amung Us croud members. Long lost it seems to be FTPolice!

  • reo's best song ever my fvorite

  • Home swweeet home

  • Thank you Regis!!!!

  • it was "Just the other day"....cheeeeeet

  • Wore this double album out, had to but another. Not to mention cleaned a lot of weed on it too. Damn shame they went "girly" music. They should have stuck with the rock-n-roll they did on this fantastic album.

  • @SuperLiftRick lol @ cleaned weed.....ik bro;album covers workd lika mf!

  • We used to call this 'boogie music' and partied hard to it.

  • how can you NOT feel good listening to this? gotta love it!

  • great song

  • Eu não conhecia adorei de cara muiiiiiiiiiiiito bommmmmm

  • If only Kevin & Gary could make up & get back together

  • I remember driving around back in 1977 with this cranked up to 12 on the old cassette player in my Maverick! This is the best of all the versions! Thanks for the memories!

  • If i found a time machine , i would go back and live though the 70s and 80s again ( and never come back ! ) The music was better, the cars were better and the women had style !

  • love this song saw them live in the early 80's kiked ass for sure

  • Man oh Man, thank God someone had this. Great song ! Thank you !

  • u kno i may be 11 years old but i heard this and jus wanna take my music sumwere else bands like this changed music the whole band is great ... this is passion all the new music lost it

  • I had to search tower records years ago...for a copy!!!!! Finally got one the last one in 1995ish...still have that cd! thankfully!..thanks buytheneedle! for your upload! A total classic REO ANTHEM!

  • it was all Gary. he wrote an composed all of thier best songs.. .. and talk about fast fingers!!! Eddie Van Halen suckled on his teet!

  • I guess I'm just getting old but these guys kick ass....no synthesizers, no lip syncing, no dance moves, just plain old 70's rock and roll....Justin B. fans can kiss my ass...lol..:)

  • Just good time music!

  • now all the music out isnt like they actually wanna play the hell out their instruments for a great time, its money fame or drugs and crap like that what happened to good music

  • Classic REO. IMHO, they pretty much went downhill when they started catering to the Top 40 crowd with their ballads.

  • When I first heard this version, (over 30 years ago now) and he started talking about the gap between the guitar and his singing, I thought he was referring to Reggis' bass playing right before. Instead I was treated to one of the best guitar/singing duels that to this day has never been bettered!

  • Gary Richrath is the most underappreciated guitar player of his generation.

  • GREAT POST

  • I have this album hidden away, sadly however I have nothing to play it with.

Music such as this shall pass this way no more, what a shame.

  • @randsonic

hey dinglenutz...........they have it on cd..............

step away slowly from the 8 track

  • @fart813

I have the original vinyl album.......why call names?

  • @fart813 no need to be mean im only 14 and i rather have vinyl then CD

  • @randsonic I have a couple turntables, let me know if I can hook you up?

  • @randsonic I too still have this album and nothing to play it on. Damn sure got it in CD a good while back. Rock and roll at its best!!

  • @randsonic They finally released it on a CD. I have 3 Vinyl copies of this. It`s all I could find over the years, since I first heard it on a Columbia Record Club sampler back in the 70`s.

  • Simply rock.

  • Simply amazing
