• hey is that the only trick u can do.

  • Hey Eli! I saw your puppet over at bigchen's account... very nice work! all the little nuances make this fascinating to watch, and i love how you're doing as a very accessible thing on the streets. Great work - can we expect to see more on here?

  • That's awesome.

  • anyone know what the songs are? they are in mandarin!

  • pseudoangela: I read an article about this puppeteer in the LA Weekly. His name is Eli Presser. He studied puppetry formally in Chicago and Cal Arts' Cotsen Center of Puppetry. According to the article, he uses "the quirky tunes of Louis Armstrong, Bai Hong and Jean Sablo" as background music to his street performances. Perhaps the person singing on this video's soundtrack is Bai Hong? I don't know for certain if it's Bai Hong singing, but, Bai Hong seems like a Chinese name.

  • that was awesome!

  • Great! Inspiring!

thats really good, i also enjoy puppeting(puppeteering?) but not with marionettes, but conventional hand puppets. keep up the good work.
