These guys do sound alot like Pantera....You can deffinitely tell they are influenced by them in many aspects. I have to admit though despie their sound and influence, I cant call these guys the next Pantera because in my opinion there can never be another Pantera and never another Darrell Lance " Dimebag " Abbott. Throwdown stills kicks ass!

It's been well known that Throwdown is from Texas. They've got that southern, heavy metal mentality. Which is fine. I love it. Even if they sound like Pantera. I'll take them. I love Phill in DOWN. He's good. But at least these guys in Throwdown are trying to keep the shit alive. And that's praise worthy. Fuck it. If it works, it works.
