  • Hey can you make a video where you show how to get the subtitles from a softsub vieo, remove them and then add them again to the same video :3 ? Please I beg you i tried everything but i,m way too noob to do it >__>

  • Thanks :D

  • Also, nice video btw. :D

  • This is an excellent program. I was able to get my troublesome mkv files into mp4 format without quality loss or audio sync issues that I was having with other programs like: GOTSent, mkv2vob, etc. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the DTS/AAC audio format, but I went through hell for 3 days trying to research it on the Internet. XviD4PSP is great! I'm using version 6.0. :)

  • That song...Funny thing is that I want convert angel beats..

  • crap i cant open it

  • @slayingmoon HI,

What do you mean "cant open"?

The video file after repacking it with this method?

    Maybe i can help you.

  • @Sebal007 cant open the program... but i found another program to do the convert , thanks anyway bro

  • Hey, I have a lot of MKV files on my computer and they are 280mb each with perfect quality. If I convert it, will it stay 280mb and with the same quality?

  • @nikitak09

    Same quality? yes

    Same Size? Depends

Your MKV consists of one videostream and at least 1 audiostream(multiple possible) and maybe fontfiles etc for softsubs.

If you do it the way described above and you do not use all audiostreams for example, the size will shrink. Otherwhise it says at the same size(+- some bytes for different datastructure)

  • @Sebal007 Wow. Perfect. Thanks so MUCH! Best tutorial like this around. Couldn't find one for months :D

  • Angel Beats

  • the english subs are gone when i did this

  • @iBryanMarquez let me gues: they are SOFT-subs? Softsubs are not part of the video. They are projected on the screen at runtime. They are made of fontfiles, timingfiles and other stuff. If you want them on the final video as hard-sub, you have to fully reencode. There is no other way :(

  • Chinese cuntssssss

  • OMG THAAANNNKKKK YOUUUU!!!!!! I've been searching for a tutorial vid about this that actually works TT~TT THANK YOUU!!!!! YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!!!!! XD

  • plz can u give me the wallpaper u have????

ah , form where is that song ??? pls answer :)

  • @DragunSlyer

Angel Beats OP - My Soul Your Beats!

  • Is this only for PSP? I have samsung galaxy mini s5570 phone

  • @MrDougieMoves no, its a general converter(for psp just at the beginning). see if it supports files for your phone(which files does your phone support?)

  • Code geass <33

  • @micomax1 mh, sounds strange. DId you try it with different video files(for testing) or just with asingle one?

  • @micomax1 mh, doesnt it sound good, to install qicktime :D?

  • @micomax1 is there a codec folder for the quicktime plugin? Is quicktime installed? did you install quicktime AFTER installing vegas?

  • @micomax1 this is a problem by vegas, picking its internal and not the quicktime mp4 codec.

In vegas, click on your file and look for the used codecname.

In your vegas pluginfolder there should be a folder for this codec. Remove this folder(make a BACKUP). restart vegas. movie still green? Look again and remove this codec until it uses the quicktime encoder

  • Angel Beats!

  • please tell me the name of the convertor??couldn't see properly...plzz

  • Thank you! This really helped for making AMV's!

  • boobs

  • Angel Beats....

  • Thanks a lot!! I really needed this for vegas! now I can make more tributes with the movies I got. in hd! Keep it up this way. you gonna solve many problems for some users.

  • @1993weekniej thanks :)

  • I fucking love u!

  • Thanks so much for this tutorial! Now I can finally edit with my favourite anime in the same high quality! :D

  • my video freezes when i click a moment in timeline in the .mp4

  • It works thanks million.

  • hey man, i can't use this freeware anymore after update my K-Lite Codec Pack to 7.20...i can used this freeware before update my K-Lite. How to solve it??

  • angel beats roxx

  • I always get an error.. -__- I give up

  • @cloudfan1010102 if you go from mkv to mp4: check that you use only 1 audioline (MKV may use multiple) and maybe convert the audio from atrac(atc, ac3) to mp3. Or for simple testing: try it once with audio enabled and video disabled, and once with audio disabled and video siabled to see which of the tracks/processes cause the exception

  • @Sebal007 what PRESENT FORMAT SETTINGS do you use?

Sorry i m not the fucking houdini i cant c what did you put in your custom settings.

  • @balkanno its not real custom.

if you choose for example mp4, it puts default settings for every output(audio&video). As soon as you change( for example audio mp3->ac3) it will show custom. So just the settings you see there ;)

  • Wath your picturs in your descktop

  • Thanks!

  • Yay angel beats!

    Good tutorial btw

  • @illegalm0f0s21 thanks :)

  • @Sebal007 nice background :)

  • @AnimangaTop

its the opening of angel beats!

  • cant u just record the part of video u want to use from the mkv with fraps?

  • @iDanVidz read the title, and tell me: What is not possible if you capture the video by fraps, and what is possible with this technique ;)

  • @Sebal007 thats what im asking, do u lose much quality if u do so?

  • @iDanVidz absolutely. With the technique presented in this video, you have 0% quality loss, when recordinh, you'll loose a lot(if you need a clean picture). Recording is slower too. You can only record in realtime. The method above is a LOT FASTER ;)

  • @Sebal007 ok.. 1 more thing then, is there any way to do this for only a little part of the movie/episode? since i dont want to convert about 220 episode :))

  • @iDanVidz 220 is a lot^^. Sadly this one cant(yet) copy only a given range. And dont call it convert. Its just copying the streams with this settings. No reconvert. Shouldnt take any longer than copying those 220 files from location a to b ;). Compared to reencoding, this way should be very very fast.

  • @iDanVidz this doesnt go as fast as copying. at least not with my pc, the episodes are about 1.5 gb (720p br or hddvd). but if its not converting then its for sure that theres no quality loss, how come the files are smaller then?

  • @iDanVidz check if your file had multiple audio tracks before and just a single after copying.

  • @Sebal007 yeah ur right. thanks a lot for helping bro :D *subbed*

  • @iDanVidz no problem, and thanks for the sub^^

  • Kanade!

  • how to convert MKV to MP4 with subs?

  • @animesith999 sadly this is not possible if the MKV file has softsubs. In case of hardsubs it doesnt matter, cause its branded into the video. In case its softsub, i dont know if mp4 can handle/is capable of storing softsubs. Softsubs are a big plus of MKV.

  • @Sebal007 I downloaded the version 5.0 and it can add subs

  • @animesith999 ah thanks. used V6 for this, which is still in development.

Used v5 some time ago and wasnt shure about it :)

  • @Sebal007 ask ShadowSpiritSaga for the subs

  • @animesith999 mpeg streamclip is better

  • is there a way to make sony vegas to read ".ass" subtitles?

or a converter to convert that format to one sony vegas can read?

  • @animesith999 the question is: CAN Vegas read/use ANY subtitle files? Dont know.

  • I'd Think To Watch An Angle Beats Clip With This Music :p

  • @wedredwed000 thought to do that, but my AngleBeat clips have hardsubs. Not suitable for AMV(which is the example situation). So i used another clip with softsubs to show that they are excluded or can be excluded.

  • This program is alright, but it frequently F's up the audio.

  • @SpiralAether

if it f# up the audio, you may change the audio format. Does it always f# up with the same file. Or is the same file sometimes ok and sometimes not?

  • @Sebal007 Always

  • @SpiralAether

If your audio doesnt work(for any strange reason) try to encode it. So not COPY, instead use ACC or something like this. Depending of the Clips length, it might need a moment, but not that long, cause audio encoding is really fast.

  • No Audio?

  • @heavensentxoxox

I used no audio, cause this has been a UseCase for an AMv maker ;). As an AMV maker, you add your own soundfile to it, so original audio is muted anyway. But if you want: Just leave it enabled and COPY it. No problem
