@pappymu As mentioned below. It doesn't have settings. You plug into the treble-booster and then straight into the amp. It has no controls. There is a link in my profile to DoxyWorld.

@pappymu A great effect that I use, is the Brian May Signature Pedal. Its produced by Digitech but I think that its no longer made. Im sure that if you go to a guitar store, they can order it for you. Thats what they did for me.

@cp1422 I have played a Digitech BM pedal. It's an ok bit of gear but so many people I know that had them have got rid of them as they aren't particularly good for using thru an amp. Into a PC they are fine. I have a Foxx phaser that I can add to get a closer 'Champs' tone.

@levski221 I used a new amp called a Doxy. I use a treble -booster pedal from my guitar and then into this Doxy amp. You can look in my profile for the link to 'Doxyworld'.Here you can see the options that are available.In a blind-test last July this amp scored 2nd to the real Deacy amp that Brian May used over a selection of about 8 other 'Deacy amp' offerings.It even beat the Fryer/Knight replica that is still to be released.That scored 3rd.They will sell for over £700.The Doxys are cheaper!

@misstwinkletoes96 Obviously my voice is recorded! It's a video.......If it's the whole song you need then I suggest getting the piano music or buying a book that shows the guitar rhythm tabs? The idea of this video is just as it states in the description.-'Brief tutorial showing the lead fills'!!!! I'm sure there are many 'how to play's' of this song on YT. Some even suggest using a capo!!!????? Thats amusing.

You need to hit the string with the pick and the edge of your thumb. You need to experiment where on the string you do it as it is easier in certain parts, depending which note you are playing. It is much easier with a pick rather than the sixpence. Practise digging in with your thumb and pick and move the thing along the string to get the best note to sound....that's all I can really say at this time. Good luck.

Well as you know I did all the hard work a few years ago....notating,transcribing all I could hear for the recording I did.

Currently I am working on filming all of the parts and showing how they come together. I have the 1st guitar choir(after the verse) and the pre-rock section filmed. I will now try to show all of the Waltz parts. It is a long long slog but I aim to present them in their entirety in the next few days......using a Red Special too...

Pick-up setting suggestions?

Did I forget them?? I used Neck and middle 'on' with the middle 'out-of-phase'. It has a different sound, tone and response to having the neck out of phase.

Mine is slightly different to yours tho Joe. (Your lead in notes are not correct. )You mentioned bending to the C but the notes are Bb....

No. It has 2 (Kent Armstrong) TriSonics and an EMG Select in the neck. Not great ones but they work.....
