this amp is great for the money. I have a fender blues deluxe that I use for big gigs...but for smaller things...this is nice...the chorus is great but the amp does lack some depth in tone....but acceptable.
you better avoid modulatiion to other harmonics, they feel unnatural. not now. modulation is very nice and interesting, but like highlighting, it shouldnt be obvious and glowing)
You're right. This is more just to demonstrate this cheap (but very useful) amp. Jimi is my hero, i always try to get his feel playing solos, not to copy them...
As I wrote, it is Peavey Vypyr 15 (the smallest and cheapest in class), effects are factory-set echo and reverb for that mode (british amp, I think it reffers to Marshall), no others...
This "Peavy Vypyr" is so called "modeling amp" and for this kind of tone i chose "british amp" mode on amp button (it should be something like "Marshall" simulation), that is how it sounds from factory, no effects added. Neck pickup (single coil) position on guitar, this is Yamaha but any Statocaster type guitar should have similar sound in this mode.
how long did you play i from germany same amp clean sound on my channel, sound is nice gretting´s from GER
