I never forget watching the news later that night. The news article talked about the concert and the short video clip had one or maybe both of the girl's (I don't remember) wearing an Oilers jersey with the number 99 on it while singing the song Angel Eyes. I was in love, lust, adoration or whatever with these two women but also loved the band and its music. I wanted to go to a concert but never made it. Their voices and of course the songs themselves made them super. Love ABBA always.

Tomorrow, Sept 13, 2009, the Abba Tribute Concert in Hyde Park, London, U.K. will happen, 30 years to the day after the start of the 1979 World Tour, Edmonton, Sept 13 1979 was the first concert.

I did not believe Abba would pay a visit to Western Canada, so much so, I did not check it out and I missed them.

The moral of this sad story is DO BELIEVE the impossible CAN HAPPEN, and DO PURSUE greatness in the arts when it presents itself, as you may have only 1 chance in a lifetime to do it.
