great vid mate very helpful. picking one up in 2-3 months, have you had the d606's on there for a while? how well do those knobs hold up to extended street use?
thanks for posting , thinking about getting one, really wanted a yf450 on the street but georgia wont allow it , my buddy in texas has on & says its a blast . how do they compare ? (250 vs 450)
hi, obviously lot of work. Remarks: Skid plate I got is Yamaha, tail light and support modification you did implies light change, note there is an access. for WRF in France : a bracket holds the license plate w/o changing the light! (affordable at 29 eu.) I just added the reflector by drilling the plate. I'll look more in details, later. Chris
Nice overview : ) the exhaust piece is more like 7oz though... Those mechanical mods probably add 1-2 hp at the most. Keep in mind the Athena 290 bore only adds 7-8hp at the rear wheel. The "doubled" hp claim was a bit lofty and may or may not be misleading to a lot of potential WR owners..
I want one so bad. But it seems like whenever i get any money together something pops up i have to spend it on and when one shows up at a deal and i don't have the money.
@fbs9494 i got it worse i got the money but importation is closed on my country, so no bikes are available anymore, even worse i cant even move from my city because of work -.-
Great video!! I've been researching all the dual sports and I think this is the bike for me with the same mods you have done. Can it comfortably cruise down the highway at 65mph??
