Not having a "rubber disk", I used some light foamy material and the hovercaft hardly worked at all. Do you think the weight of the disk is important (to, say, create a better "seal")?
ive tried ! but then the air pressure from the balloon is not enough to move the heavy cd .. how could you move that? ( and also ive tried with a smaller size of cd of course) .. do/plz reply A.S.A.P ..hehe
I wish i could "like" this as many times as i was hammering the thumbs up button, one doesn't seem enough. I also wish that I actually had a balloon, a rubber disc and some glue :(
@englebertnightingale In Fluid Theory the expression "orifice" is used for an opening that lets fluid (or gas) through itself:
"A fluid passing through an orifice constriction will experience a drop in pressure across the orifice. This change can be used to measure the flowrate of the fluid. "
