It was something like 20 years before I figured out that Buffy (Sainte-Marie) was a famous entertainer OUTSIDE of Sesame Street.

And Mr Hooper! Man I love that guy.

I'd like to see the one where the adults meet Snuffy too. By the time I was watching Sesame Street it was already just accepted that of course there are snuffleupaguses (snuffleupagi?). I was actually a little surprised to see earlier episodes where the adults almost rudely dismiss the idea of Snuffy as a silly fantasy of Big Bird's that they "don't have time for." I'm kind of glad I didn't see that as a kid, actually - I was the sort who would've been sad that nobody believed poor Big Bird!
