Looks great, yet, is very funny how most the FPS game makers are putting older games features in the new ones, this Quake Enemy Territory look like a mixture of Battlefield 1942 (mechanism) , Halo (strogg's weapons have not ammo gauge, but they overheates) and Quake 4...well, the theme.

Its just as good, I have found the AI to be really good. No content is removed from the demo , but you only have one map : valley.

Ummm, no. TF is capture the flag with guns, pure and simple.  Quake Wars and Frontlines: Fuel of War intend to be a sort of Battlefield 2.0. In terms of realism and complexity it goes: TF2 < Battlefield series < Quake Wars and potentially Frontlines.

Each character has so many types of weapons, yet they don't go over how to use them in the game. Hella gay! 1 of the Strogg units has this orange knife thing. I don't even know what the hell it does.

The special edition isn't. It still costs $60. The regular 1 at Frys cost is $25 which is better. It doesn't have a storyline like Quake 4 or characters like in a movie. Its just missions. If you like that then yes get it. I like Quake 4 more though.

1. ET is not older than TF/TFC. Even RTCW was 2001, long after TFC in 1999.

2. They took out the explosions shown, this is an ooooold build.

3. The environment does not break up because of objective based play, you're not supposed to be able to create new routes or change structure. Blowing a hole in the wall ruins choke points.

2142 was the dodgiest slapped together game ever, It was fun for a while then the APM spamming started, After that the assaults with their Voss and rockets dominated the battlefield and healed and revived each other in a pack. Recon without their APMs are far weaker than other classes, with their APMs they are just annoying, LMGs are just a spam gun and Engineers are simply underpowered. Don't even get me started on all the bugs and glitches.

Believe me, if this game is even slightly like et, which it looks like it is, the games will get very boring as airstrikes can own everything. It will be just like et when medics get loads of health and can heal themselfs, use uber adrenaline type stuff and be uber overpowered. thats y im sticking 2142 coz its mostly balenced

Well, there will be no adrenaline, also you will not be able to fire a gun while running. IMO it is not the Airstrike but the Artillery Strike, used on an objective by the defending team all the time, which makes ET a little bit unbalanced. In Quake Wars you will be able to build turrets which will prevent any artillery fire (except the airstrike, but for that you still will have to be close to the target). I looks like this game will be really balanced, for every strategy there is a counter.

I expect ET to be better than 2142, but 2142 isnt a bad game. I love the BF series and 2142 doesn't change anything about the game that diminishes it.

actually bf 2142 is just a retail mod used with the bf2 engine, quake wars idea was first, bf 2142 came out later, just quake wars hasnt came out yet, i expect better gameplay

that's why I got bored playing ET. it was nice for couple of weeks, but doing the same things in the same order... and bf... I was playing BF2 for few months and then, when BF2142 was released, I am still playing and enjoying it. ET when it comes to gameplay is simple fps, BF is something between ordinary fps and OPF (still looks more like fps).
