It was British warfare and tactics that started the defeat of Germany - America merely sped up a process already set in motion, the glory claiming bastards. And as for Russia, how the hell the sneaky useless russians can even claim to have helped is beyond me, switching sides in both WW1 & WW2 - a bunch of bastards!

Actually Germany was defeated by the Russians. Without them fighting Germany from the east, the Germans would most probably have won the war on european soil. Even British historians confirm this. You comments come across as if Britain/US won the war ad libitum, and that is complete nonsense.

@PARTICLEZXz The USSR lost 20 million and made it to Berlin. The UK lost around half a million and managed to fuck up both Market Garden and the Rhine crossing before the war was finished (against the weaker front, no less).

And yet 8 of 10 German soldiers who were killed in action during WWII were killed by Soviet soldiers. America and Britain only killed the other 2 out of 10.
America shouldered 90% of the fighting in the Pacific, and provided a vast amount of material during WWII, and helped massively replenish British military equipment, virtually all which was abandoned at Dunkirk.
I'm not trying to minimize the British contribution here, but please give others credit where due.

Then as soon as hitler attacked poland in WW2 we immediately declared war on germany even though we were safe on our small island. America who had a massive economy and army decided to stay out and just loan Britain and her close allies money to fight a nutter bent on WORLD domination for 2 whole years.

@BLOODPACT74 this song isnt about britain ruling anything. this is how "britons never, never, never, will be slaves". also remember this song is from an era when briton ruled 1/3 of the world (considering how small it is is quite a feat) and the most powerful navy in the world (hence the term "britannia rules the waves". :). also it really isnt common practice for a country to rule other countrys anymore (hence why britain, france, netherlands etc dont have empires any more).
