  • it looks so lame how that guys beating the furniture with a newspaper...

  • Dave Goelz as a sheriff.

  • Physical training and mental exertion? Don't they do it with Hollywood make-up and costuming?

  • @NaiTaiDai The pathetic actors of today need make-up and costuming. All Vincent Price needed was sheer will.

  • I loved the scene where Kermit bit Vincent

  • Classic... :-)

  • 3:12 i guess its true when they say that television is bad for you LOL

  • the news anchor looks a lot like a muppetized version of my old biology teacher...and he also looked delicious *licks lips*

  • something is always movingAWAY FROM KERMIT

  • What happens in the final number?

  • "A dining room table for eight reportedly ate the eight it was set for." LOL!

  • 3:11 >:D

  • The best part was taken out :(

  • @ConnDevi88 What part was that?

  • @Stephen10528 The final number isn't on the DVD

  • @ConnDevi88 What happens in the final number?

  • @Stephen10528 Vincent and the muppet monsters singing "You Got A Friend" a friend isn't on the complete first season dvd due to music rights, a lot of that season had songs removed. Disney was cheap during that season the other two sets are uncut i believe.

  • @ConnDevi88 Oh!

  • Ok, now I truly wish Vincent Price had been the narrator in "secrets of the Titanic".

  • Everything after the Newsflash is lame since they cut the closing number, right?

  • vincent and i have one thing in common we both love monsters

  • R.I.P. Vincent Price. I always remember him from that scene in Edward Scossorhands when he just dies...and it was more tragic when it happend not to long afterwards. Many thx fer the upload. And the analysis of the dreded fear of expensive home furnishing. Classic

  • 0:53 - time for a nibble :D LOL

  • i love the fucking living furniture man!

  • Lolz! Vampire Kermit = WIN

  • I love Kermit's little sigh when the doll hand on the table begins to move.

  • Kermit should act in next Twilight Movie :D

  • I wouldn't even be like

well that's random. I would just be focused on the lame acting from Bella and Edward

  • I used to love when MY furniture turned into monsters ;(

  • vampire kermit can kick edward cullens ass XD

  • not to mention vampire Vincent Price can kick sparkle fairy . . . oh I mean edward cullen's ass!

  • @MsBlackdeath13 Yea, but so can The Count from Sesame Street so that doesn't mean much...

  • @Dargonhuman Vincent Price, vampire Kermit and The Count = Sparkle fairy ass kick'in..

  • The sketch with the monstrous furniture has always been one of my favourites.

  • These little ghosts are so cute!!

  • Yeah, Vincent Price is a true vampire. not any of this fake and embarrassing pseudo-vampires spawned by the housewife Stephanie Meyer. Those aren't vampires. They're fairies with a diet problem.

  • @JohanStarDragon did vincent price ever realy play a vampire?

  • idk would have to look it up

  • awh. Vincent Price and the Muppets are amazing.

  • Wait, didn't Price have a musical number?

  • yes, but it got cut from the DVD due to music rights.

  • lol i loved the vamp kermit,so awesome.

  • I loved this episode. When Kermit bit Vincent, I was dying!

  • me too. I think Kermit was getting back at Vincent for seasoning him and offering Kermit to Gorgon Heap in the panel discussion segment.

  • cool

  • Vincent Price in great new bio (Charlton Heston: An Incredible LIfe: Revised Edition) at amazon!

  • Nice David Goelz reference at 2:19.

  • On my tape of this episode the intro is generic, but includes a version of Winter Spring Summer or Fall done by Vincent Price. Did the show vary in syndication?

  • so funny when all the furniture turns into monsters :D

  • Oh, inanimate objects can INDEED "turn into a monster" in Japan; they're called tsukumogami.

Anyone else wish they'd been able to keep the final number and cut the "hand" joke and the talking houses sketch? I didn't care for those at all.

  • I love vamp kermit

  • Furniture monsters used to scare me as a kid!

  • I gotta "hand" it to Sweetums, that joke was funny! LOL

  • the funniest one was wjen the HOUSE said his son is interested in medicine and the other house said "oh he is a fdoctor" not he is a HOSPITAL ..

    ha ha hja ha

  • 0:57 lol pwned

  • Excellent show. Thanks for posting.

    The poor Muppet News guy!

  • Dude the Beatles song was cut out of my VHS...

  • How does he do that?

  • Dam good!!

  • I bet the sketch where the household objects become monsters was an inspiration to a young Tim Burton.

  • I love vamp kermit

  • Among the monsters in the audience are the Fazoobs and Phoob. Does that mean they're monsters too? I mean, an alien can be a type of monster in movies or books.

  • Sheriff Dave Goelz....hee hee. :D

  • Wait... where's "You've Got a Friend?" It's been cut out!

  • Yeah, that sucks.

  • It is on youtube, somewhere!

  • It's kind of ironic then that, given the astronomical cost of obtaining the rights for Beatles songs, "I'm Looking Through You" was left in. (Not that I'm complaining about that. It's a great song!)

  • It was edited out by Disney
