Well the subtitles aren't the EXACT words, but they still rhyme, and I think that's what the translator was going for. Just for those who don't know Russian, the song lyrics aren't as goofy as the subtitles make them out to be.

I am from Georgia originally,now i am living in States but i was there 4 months ago and i bought this movie and other Riazanovs movies in the store.I used wait for these movies to be broadcasted by Russian TV growing up so it is amazing that now 17 years later i actually have them at home and can watch them anytime.
