i personally thought the 3d cube was shit. i love linux as much as the next guy but this 3d cube DOES NOT make linux better than windows. No, its just a shit 3d cube.
why people explain ms sucks with rotating 3D ubuntu desktop, that`s child thinking, ms sucks indeed but for 1000 other things than an simple desktop...
I suggest that you download the Linux Mint Daryna Live CD. You can boot-it up, and see a little bit more about what all this Linux stuff is about.
The Live CD won't effect your M$ system, and if you like what you see you can then install it. In fact, you can actually dual-boot M$, and Linux Mint.
If I become unhappy with my mac I will, right now though, I'm happy with my Mac and it dose very thing I need to... at any rate I paid to much for this computer to risk installing something. Thanks though.
I have no idea. I must adimt, my knowage of tech stuff is limted at best, I'm one of those people that think hitting and duck tape are the two greastest inventions for fixing tech stuff, like VCRS and DVDs.
Well, if you run a MAC, you probably can get help over on the MAC Forums. I'm sure they can help you out dual-booting. Just don't tell them you want to run Linux, they will probly think you want to run Microsoft. LOL!

I've taken my IBM, H-P, Toshiba, SONY Notebooks wiped out Microsoft (M$) then installed Linux.
Give it a try. I think that you can do it with "Parallels" and the MAC platform.

You can try dual-booting your MAC with a Linux distribution, preferably Linux Mint. Doesn't Apple have an application called "Parallels"?
