one of my all time favs by this classic amazing band !! also Georgia Peaches and Gimme Back my Bullets and Whiskey Rock and Roller ahhh fav set ! I love you tube !!!
One song I've never heard by Skynyrd. Is that Bob Burns or Artimus Pyle on the kit? Being a drummer of 34 years it sounds like Pyle with his ride patterns on the bell and tom sound.

@Romar10o0 ...Yes.Indeed you do need to listen to more Skynyrd. And you need to read their bio. and learn how they used to play in a shack with,no a/c,out in the middle of the woods. How they would stay there and damn near die of heat exhaustion until every "lick" was in it's place. This way you REALLY appreciate what a great talent we all lost that dreadful October in 77.Glad u found it and hope you enjoy it more and more.
The REAL Lynyrd Skynyrd was the best Southern Rock Band to walk the planet. RIP Ronnie and the band. We miss you! I spent my school years listening to them. You couldn't play in a band in the south if you couldn't play "Free Bird".
This song is more evidence of the awesome influence that Steve Gaines was having on Skynyrd in the short time he was with the band. They started to write a new chapter w/ Street Survivors and songs like this one.
oh yea i had this dollar bill with a heart on it, i knew i wasnt gonna save it so i circled the oher side with a heart and knew i couldnt take it with me ;/
@jfizzle420, I've known this song since 1987. Legend, The 2nd Skynyrd album that came out since i became a fan as a kid about 1981 or so, had a lot of b-sides and demos, and a live version of Simple Man.
the reason this song isnt very well known is because not many people have heard it.... & an interesting statistic is that 1 out of every 600 people havent even heard it
Maybe Ronnie did write this song for you lol. Its a simple song, simple lyrics and magnificent in it's presentation. Music just dosen't get much better than this.
Great tune! Must have been tough for Skynryd being so damn good that every tune you do belongs on an album. Everything they did was the best!!!
