  • @heavymetal. I love his voice in (Liam live forever aquistic ) search that .

  • One more thing Noel is KING :p

  • i love his 2000 voice

  • Big change in them few years went from singing to shouting and I'm an oasis fan so no hate mail lol

  • 1997 - 2000 was quite a change.

  • Waht a load of drivel,

    you timewasting manc scally.

  • What happened in 2006?!?!! :S

  • @SharpeysSkits oasis' worst gig ever.

  • Liam Gallagher Voice Involution

  • Other than 2006, Everything was Brilliant. <3 The Legend. Over and Out!

  • no!!! julian casablancas!!!

  • Liam might not be the BEST frontman but he surely has his own style and he is an honest man doing what he wants so for that I like him

  • FREDDIE MERCURY THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  • FREDDIE MERCURY THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They pussy has to stand the way a dog does to take a shit just to get voice out of his throat! Both the Gallagher bros are nothing more than pussies! Want to know how people sang? Check out Geoff Tate or Roy Khan or Ronnie James Dio or Bruce Dickinson or Russel Allen. Best singer in the world? Liam? Boy, Vaklav Klaus Awards are to you!

  • 1995 was playback so that doesnt count haha.

  • is there a video of liam singing wonderwall in 1995 live?

1996 is great, but I really like his 1995 voice especially earls court

  • that first one does't really count since it's a studio recording not the live version. In fact, I'd say that he sounds the same in every album apart from Be Here Now, where his voice was rusty (see Stand by me), and the last one which is his best singing.

  • 2000-2001

  • He sings from the throat, and people that do that usually burn out pretty quick.

Noel's voice is better these days, and always was under rated.

  • Vince Neil the frontman of Motley Crue owns this pussy =) Why do people think Liam is so great??? his voice has no vocal range and he can not sustain a note, and not to mention all of Oasis's songs are piss easy to sing. Also he has got the worst stage presence ever all he does is just stand there and dosent entertain the slightest.

Liam sucks, Oasis sucks. Vince Neil and Motley Crue FTW.

  • @mrtamberineman123 all of oasis song are piss easy to sing? what about Slide Away?

  • @mrtamberineman123

Liam in the early days had one of the best and most powerful natural voices in rock music.

Vince Neil pushes his voice too far, uses too much whiny reinforced falsetto. He has a good range, but range means nothing if it sounds fake.

Liam now however has shot his voice to pieces trying to sound like other people which is a shame.

He sounds the best when he sounds like himself.

  • over those years the badassness in him has got bigger and bigger, so it keeps trying to get out through hes voice, but in 2006, badass overload...

  • oh no 2006

  • 1996

  • Well at the beginning, thats on Top of the Pops, which is playback for a start. Its the same with any rock'n'roll band over a long period. He aint 20 anymore. Still a great singer.

  • he loves the way he sings now, and i do too!!!!

  • Don't care what people say, he's the best vocalist ever, and even though you may say its Devolution, he is still brilliant! :)

  • Where is the first video? It's Really good.

  • since 2000 our kid never sings, there are just loads and loads of guitars and drums

  • Liam's voice degenerated not because of smoking, but because of the way he stands when singing.

  • @FreezerBurn1704 that's a good point of view...

  • @Davidlindoso @FreezerBurn1704 It's true. Singing with your throat at that angle is murder on the vocal cords. Vocal coaches will always tell you to angle slightly downward so the strain is on the front of your face rather than your throat. It's no wonder Liam's often come down with laryngitis and his voice has deteriorated to the degree it has, especially night after night singing that way. (Of course the smoking, drinking, and the occasional toot over the last 20 years doesn't help either.)

  • @FreezerBurn1704 the way he stands? what does that have to do with anything?

  • @FreezerBurn1704 Agreed mate, try singing for the good part of 15 years in that pose. Then again that AND cigarettes cant have helped

  • @FreezerBurn1704 Why ?

  • somebody need to hear jon bon jovi, a fuckin joke

  • 96 on a par with elvis

  • 97 top!!

  • Why does he start to walk away from the mic constantly in the mid 2000's? thats basically what ruins his signing, is there something that happens when he breaths in that he doesnt want the mic ti catch or something that would sound worse than him not completing lines fully?

Hes still a great singer, even into the early 2000's, before he started walking away from the mic (constantly and before song lines were finished), he still sounded great even if not as "young".

  • @Eezaspanner because he cant hold a single fuckin note anymore. which was his signature style back in the 90's. imaginayshiooonnnnnn, for the summmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer.

  • 1996 - 1997

was the biggest change, and the worst

His voice at it's best at 1994-1996

  • But he asn't got a versatile voice. It fits what he does well but there's plenty he couldn't do.

His voice is betting than his singing.

  • I THINK he's arlready bored of wonderwall...that's cos he always changes his voice....

  • best singer/frontman that there has EVER been, EVER. fuck anybody else, and anyone else's opinions. this is my opinion and i dont care about anyone else's.

  • @5hits2009 yeahhhh this is also my opinion man

    cheers

  • @5hits2009

    Best frontman ever?

Man, i love Oasis... is one of my fav bands.... But i can easily name 100 better frontmans...

Freddy Mercury, Roger Daltrey, Robert Plant, Mick Jagger, Axl Rose, Steve Tyler, Eddie Vedder, Jonathan Davis, Joey Ramone, Chester Bennington, Iggy Pop, Jimi Hendrix, Billie Joe Armstrong, Dave Grohl, Brian Johnson (and i could keep going)

Brother, you need to learn a lot about music and musicians

Just because he acts like a badass doesen't mean he's a good frontman

  • @saantinoo i think ull find i said in the comment i dont care about ur opinoin. mick jaggar hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • I think I'm gonna be sad.. It reminds me of everything about Oasis..

Thank you for sharing and the efforts, mate..

    Cheers,

  • you are completly out of order

  • the voice is still good on tour your voice get rough but but with rest his vocals are good as ever

  • The thing is, when I first got in to Oasis in 1995, I listened to Liam singing live and actually enjoyed it - when he hit certain notes or sang things certain ways. In the last 5 years or so, I just don't listen to him live with any enjoyment. I'm always a little embarrased by his voice - The Brits 2008 for example.

  • think i liked it best in 2000 very croaky. if you listen to go let it out i think thats his best singin voice, REALLY croaky

  • In 2008 his voice improved dramatically since his problems. Can you people imagine what beady eye will sound like with more than a year off? Well ...The band should be decent but one major factor missing is the song writings. You can replace an instrument but not words of wisdom. But Liams voice should amazing again.

  • @fxsaberboy Liam's growing in his songwriting abilities but he's only put two or three out there that I legit enjoy. Without Noel Beady Eye will be just another band.

  • @LRifenberg You cant actually make that assumption until they come out. Who knows, there material may be so good that they are a number one hit. I also doubt it. I was not ranting on Noel in my above comment though. Noel is the one who writes the words of wisdom..lol definitely not Liam.

  • His voice in the 1996-2000 period is definitely the best one!!

  • Comment removed

  • I love his voice in the "1995 version", it's so clear and strong..but he's a great singer anyway

  • Liam on familiar to millions is the best i think he's ever sounded. Its so growly.

  • Why play wonderwall, wouldn't something like live forever be more appropriate.

  • i think his voice still sounds good through the years, of course it is different from the early days of oasis but in my opinion its all good. even 2006, which to be honest, his voice went through a rough patch, but to me that was one of the best years, i dont know what it is, it just sounds amazing in my opinion

  • @9rock4 agree

  • @9rock4 truly zagree!!

  • He lost his voice...

  • 1995 sounds a lot like the album version..

  • @PedrosProductions it was the album version lol

  • @9rock4

    thought so lol

  • I guess 1997 is my favorite.. His voice was just the perfect rock 'n' roll voice!

  • listen to songbird... it sounds amazing

  • listen to songbird... it sounds amazing

  • he used to sing like a god and now he sings like a rockstarr

    live forever

  • 2000-1 was the best

  • the main reason is because the way he sings involves shouting

  • wembley...the SECOND night where liam was wearing shades and a black jacket was possibly a good contender!

    stillll

No solo escucho U2!

Supersonic, Stop crying, Go let it out, Who feels love, etc, son clasicos que me hubiese gustado q toquen.

  • He was awful only in 2006,now he's got a lot better

  • His voice was amazing in 1994-2002. But even today, he still has a nice voice. Check the shows in Manchester 2005 and at Wembley Stadium in 2008.

But I have to say, his voice was a crap in 2009.

  • Nice joke

  • it's his evolution, he always gave his best at any concert... even Robert Plant wasn't the same anymore after just couple of years... But 4 me he still sounds amazing, i was in Wembley in 2008 and was a amazing concert !

  • 95 and 96 perfect...but now... sucks

  • From 2006 onwards he can longer hold any notes. Shame

  • his voice is still amazing but not as good i must say, but on dig out your soul it sounded no different tbh

  • yeah that's the studio version but he sucks live

  • he sucks now.

but back in the day he was incredible.

  • yeah 95/96/97 best rock singer in the world

  • 1994-peak

  • people call Liam's voice now, but it's still good in it's own unique way.

  • he used be amazing

    Oasis (L)

  • his voice was was SOOOOO HOT AND PERFECT in 1995 and 1996 and then from there on their performances sound like shit.

    it sucks. =(

oasis are still the greatest band ever though.

  • thhe first i obv a fake coz noels playing an electric guitar when it sounds acoustic

  • and jesus, what happened to his voice in 2006?! that's awful, sorry Liam. :/

  • wow, Lee Evans is an Oasis fan? I like him even more now! :)

  • wow that 2006 clip was horrible

  • 1996 definitely best voice!

i was only 2 so i couldnt see them live, poor me^^

    best band ever ;)

  • what gig was that in the beggining 1995?

  • The fist live is just playback -_-"

  • the first one wasn't his real voice, it was the same voice from the record lol

  • of course fuck it wasnt REAL voice in record!!

    Doya call wonderwall fake ??

  • this more like devolution

  • he actually has a problem with his phoenetic chords.. All of that arching in his neck (1997-2001) did no good to his voice!

  • yeah his beautiful voice has imploded...notice how throught the vid Noel's participation increased...paving the way for the now in the works Noel Gallagher solo project..

  • best singer in the world....not even the best singer in Oasis!

  • haha i thought that was funny. but i mean it wouldnt be oasis without liam.

  • yeh fair point dude

  • Well that might be because noel doesent even sing lol liams been exploding it out while noel does backup no wonder noels is fresher

  • paul mccartney been exploding it out fo 40+ years ...and he still sounds fresh. im sorry to say it.. but liams voice sounds old hat. hes boring now

  • But liam must have one of the most demanding set lists for a singer with big rock n roll tunes mccartneys are all nice lil acoustic songs

  • Ever heard of Helter Skelter?

  • You really think Oasis songs are that demanding and hard on the vocal chords? Not gunna lie, Wonderwall is not that hard on the vocal chords, it's just about as hard as anything McCartney has ever done.

  • Or maybe because they smoke a lot...

    Oasis, live forever

  • i think so

  • @Pire002 yup .. he smoke a lot

  • @Pire002 smoking has nothing to do with their singing theres loads who smoke and they still sing well.

  • @TONYCOV881 Well, i said that about a year from now. Uh. It's because of the way he's been stretching his vocal chord by singing with that characteristic position rising up his neck. But also smoking and drugs has a lot to do. Not all the voice are the same, not all the vocal chords resist the same.

  • @Pire002 paul mccarntneys always smoked and he still sounds good, freddie mercury sounded good till the day he died and he smoked like a chimney and he was one the king of coke heads.

frank sinatra and dean martin often smoked aswell so what you said is a silly generalization.

  • @TONYCOV881 Did you read what i said? Not all the voices are the same, not all the vocal chords resist the same. You can notice that on voices of people like Richard Ashcroft (still has a great voice, but rougher), Shaun Ryder, even Freddie Mercury couldn't reach the highest notes sometimes live on stadiums. I mean, they all sing, but let's face that cigarette always do harm to voice. That's undeniable. Also half of the artists you meant didn't snorted the same quantity of drugs that Liam did.

  • best singer?

    not even close

  • Shame the TotP vid is Liam miming the words instead of singing, you should've used footage from the White Room concert. His voice was proper good there.

  • It's interesting how Liam's "look" changed over the years too!

  • i like the voice that liam have right now at 2009 than it was before the voice very suits for the song supersonic

  • in the new album it sounded better. he just needs to train his breath

  • that's not evolution, sorry

  • Why do most Oasis fans hate Coldplay?? The 2 bands are good friends with each other you know, they even had a combined concert haha...

  • lee evans at the start?

  • Gradual process from GREAT to SHIT. Noel just got better with age.

  • why does it just skip from 2001 to 2006? they toured 2002-03 and 2005.

  • Sounded good at Wembley stadium this year but when you compare it to back then, there's no denying the fact :o(

  • he is the best singer of all time :-|

  • He is the best rock singer of this years, not in the history of rock n'roll

  • ahhyeah his voice sound amazing in that song cause he just started doing that arched neck stance when he sang i donno how but thats apparently affecting his voice

  • this video from 1995, I am pretty sure that this wasn't a live... I mean, it's seems a lot, when i say a lot i mean equal, with the original version from the CD. And sorry but 2006 sounds terrible even worse than that... a lot worse... I never liked of the voice of Liam, the real singer in Oasis is Noel... The proof is in Unplugged ^^, i don't have any doubt that Noel is a better singer than Liam, reeeeeeaaaaaally better singer than him... Liam is out =/

  • Yes, the 1995 video is from TOTP. It's their policy to lip-sync songs, and not actually preforming. Noel and Liam hated this, though, so they'd oftenly mess around on TOTP, such as switching places when they preformed Roll With It. Bonehead would play a Cello... ^_^

  • When bonehead dropped the cello and started conducting with the bow... those were the days

  • TWO difenrent voices thats true, but liam is the real soul of oasis

  • no... Liam WAS the real soul of oasis... With this horrible voice, no way... Now the real soul of oasis is Noel... Without a fuckin' doubt

  • maybe youre right... noel is a good singer too(i love the importance of being idle and force of nature etc)anyway oasis is the best band in the world no? (i hate coldplay...)

  • The fact that he can sing over a long period of time does not have anything to do with him being the best rock singer. He is good, but he is far from best.

  • Who is better then ?

  • Chris Cornell, Stephen Tyler, Freddie Mercury (rip)

Guys like that. My point is not to say that Liam is not a good singer, but it is to say that he is not the best :)

  • i HATE OASIS BUT ONE THING IS TRUE :LIAM IS THE BEST SINGER

  • 1994-1998 great voice 1999 -2003 pretty good 2004-2006 worst 2007 - now the voice is great check out heaton park is amazing

  • Evolution?

Yeah, Liam is amazing, but he doesn't sing anymore :(

    Noel is better now

  • I think Liam's voice was perfect from the begging of Oasis to 2000.

  • the pictures of the 2006 are in Argentina ! buenos aires.

    EXELENTE VIDEO.

  • there is little difference between 95 and 95

for the 95 clip you just showed us them playing live with a recorded version played over the top....

  • 1994-1997 best singer ever!

    1998 - 2000 still pretty good

    2001+ forgot how to sing

  • 1994-1997 Quite good singer

    1998-2000 Fucking great voice

2001+ we're just getting older, better than many singers, though.

  • what?

    91-94- great

late 94-late95- prime voice top 3 all time

    96-97- amazing

98- 99- still great but cant handle tours, carnation was the last live song he sang great.

    2001-2007- terrible

    now- getting better

  • Yh orite , fair enough , but can you name a better stage preformer that gets a crowd going from 2001-2007 ???

  • i agree with coggin1in1hull no 1 gets a crowd going and keeps them going like liam

  • you show the worst 2006 gig and call that evolution i lawld

  • is just because i was there! =)

  • oh ok then

  • sadly, i dont call it 'evolution'. :(

  • 2000 was the best doesnt relli show it on this video but check out yokohama fukkin class

  • 1995 had a different audio played over the video. The audio was from a performance on MTV.

  • BEst siner?? YOURe RIGHT MAN!!

  • 2006 was awful

  • It was quite ;DD .. but I like it..

  • 97-2000 his voice was prime.

  • 2006 worst year for liams voice. now... in my opinion, if he doesn't cut words, he could be better than 2002..!

  • the begining of the 2008 tour his voice was back on. He just cant handle the length of the tour anymore.

HIs best performance EVER vocally was the live forever acoustic he did for mtv. from late 94 to late 95 his voice was at its prime and could be top 3 rock singers of all time.

96 it was still great, early 97 was good he sounded great on be here now. but by 2000 his voice went to shit

  • i totally agree but i desagree 1 thing... 2000's my favourite year...( and i think in that period his voice was on top..) ;)
