It was a sketch comedy show created by and produced by Keenan Ivory Wayans. Some of the most influencial actors and comedians of the 90's and today started there. Such as Jim Carrey, Oscar Winner Jamie Fox , David Alen Greir and Jennifer Lopez. He also used it as an outlet for his own family. His brother Damian later went on to do the hit smash Major Payne & Mo' Money with Shawn who however is best known for his patnership with Marlon Wayans, who was the DJ for the show.
