It is called progressive because it gradually builds up energy by adding more elements before slamming you with the melody. You can feel the energy slowly building and building with every 8 measures as the intensity rises until you are blown away with the melody. Listening to this track alone makes me feel like I am high.

I do love Blue Fear, this is my self of trance, but then there are those who prefer the even earlier songs such as "Age of Love - Age of love" and those songs which are much more repetitive and it takes much longer to build up, but I prefer Anthem Trance such as THIS masterpiece :)

I have never really liked trance... I'm more into house, progressive house, hard house, and dubstep... but this isn't too bad... it's ok. Not enough bass I guess. I'm not saying this song isn't good.
