@GillianandCharlene The only time when grenades are even considered is the Bushwacker (Stage 4 boss) fight. You can do it without the bombs, but then it gets a little harder...
Not very reliable in the long run. You'll lose energy as long as you hit something, no matter what. In fact, the most reliable thing you'll ever see in this game is the Super Grenade, which affects every moving target on screen.. and even then it won't necessarily bail you out of anything.
I think Capcom must have game hime some really "tight" pants on.
I mean seriously, if he didn't, then wouldn't his pants drop to the floor every time he perform that move? :-P
I also have solo entries of completed games on maximum difficulty for both characters on my channel and they do not involve using those ridiculous and kind of annoying (well the sound they yell each time is kind of annoying) specials.
LOL, yea, this is more of a crack-up game than anything else. Sometimes we can't take it seriously anymore because of the sounds + reactions in this game.
That's aweful, but getting hit in the ass or from behind in general is even worse. I hate the way the players' characters react to getting hit in the back in this game. It just don't look right.
Also the players' death sounds can be considered aweful too, but I laugh a lot at that one.
Punisher: MMLOR OR OOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRGH!!!!
lol i purposely never used the special moves for that reason. and i will say that another thing that pissed me off was how you couldnt get the "good" ending unless you played it on the hardest difficulty. so you know you would be hearing a lot of those yells during that run
There is really just 2 endings. The ending text or epilogue is slightly different if the game was completed in Single Player by Nick Fury.
As for the Staff Roll Credits portion, if the game was completed without continues(doesn't matter which difficulty you set the game on), and no player joined in, then it will display all of hostiles sprites that the player has encounter throughout the game. It's basically just an alternate animation sequence.
The regular animation sequence during the staff roll is with both Punisher and Fury shooting out the Staff credits and clearing them with Grenades, and from Bonebreaker's Missiles and some Pretty Boys' heads.
You'll get this once either player used a continue, and if someone joins in rather than both players starting the game simultaneously(and finishing the game without continues)
You can also add extra lives from the Settings page. Up to a maximum of 5 lives (4 Extra+1 Regular; x0)

@jons44 I don't know, I think Fury taking off his belt and whacking people with it is just as lame.

I hate it when enemies hit us from the rear. That's what we call absolute perversion.
Especially from Knive thugs, or when KingPin burns you with the Cigar.

Me, too. First character I beat the whole game with(in one credit, default settings) was Punisher. Then I did it with Nick Fury later on.

Sweet, like how i used to rock HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2 with 1 credit in the Arcade Halls...

That Bushwacker fight was awesome.

Yea, we tried to avoid that food at all costs. No healing, no grenades. It's possible in one player as well, but very difficult.
