One of the first matches I saw the entire 90 minutes of (as an 8 year old) back in '72. Great memories, Chivers second was a rocket as purpleduke77 says. Must have been a heartbreaker for Wolves.
Thanks for a great upload. As an 11 year-old Wolves fan I was at Molineux, too. To this day I remember Chivers' goal. In Wolves UEFA Cun run that season there was one better: Danny Hegan's at home to Juventus. Would give anything to see it again.
I was there too aged 14 , paid at the gate, hard to believe now. Still a fan, they broke my heart then and they still do, but they are my team and there is nothing i can do about it, every football fan will know what i mean, Thanks for posting this, and god bless Tottenham, Chivers was brilliant '
I am surprised that no one has noticed the referee for the first game. None other than Tofik Bahramov. Strange to see him leading a game in the middle of the pitch instead of being a linesman.
Ill never forget that chivers winner at molineux, i was an eleven year old wolves fan at the time sitting on the 3rd row of seats just about level to where he hit the ball, ive never seen anyone hit the ball so hard, it nearly sent Parks in the net with it, i can still hear the thud of the ball when he connected with it , even remember that canister horn being let off in the second game, they had it at the first as well, spoke to the guy who had it at train station, great game, great memories
Actually the first leg is David Coleman commentating on the BBC, second leg is Brian Moore commentating on ITV. Sounds like Brian Moore doing the introduction and bit at the end too, this would make it an ITV programme, could be about Spurs or British teams in Europe or one of those 'football years' kind of things ... anyway Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur !

I'm a bit disappointed with the scanty amount of actual footage. I'm not blaming the guy who posted it, surely ITV had more than this

Didn't the Doog score a perfectly good disallowed goal that would have tied the game? Pity it wasn't shown!

Does anyone know which when this clip was taken from? Not the date of the games, the date of the air date for this footage, thanks
