People do these things. Not any god or messiah. At the heart of every religion is a mystic teacher who tried to enlighten and uplift. People corrupt everything--political and spiritual visions alike (the hopes of idealists). Pagans fed Christians to lions and used them as torches. If there had been no Christ, Christianity, people would've done evil in the name of something else. We each and collectively wrestle with the devil and the christ within.
@ThePAGANboi No this is Magic.magic is the highest practise a human can do.The most amazing book you can have on it is Franz Bardon -Initiation into Hermetics.Jesus was a Magician as well..But people dont really know what is the exact meaning of it.It is really divine and very Holy.The higest magician-Priest or Priestess only works for the good of the Universe and Humanity.As the shamans did.Healing the people and the word.That is how the original "priest"was created.To teach,heal,and serve.
