Stop the wars, cut the trillion we spend on the military atleast by half, bring the troops home. Use that savings to shore up and PHASE OUT the socialist programs we've been saddled with. Let the free markets work on healthcare costs and these stupid government programs won't be necessary.

Bush was bad...but Obama spent more than all US presidents combined within his first 6 months of office. But if you want to blame someone, blame Nixon for taking the US Dollar off of the gold standard in 1971.

SS and MC was never intended to be long term programs...with the influx of the Baby Boomers to both programs, there is NO WAY for either program to survive. I was no fan of George, but I will say he tried to address the fact that SS was going to end by offering private opportunities for people to create their own retirement funds. It was shot down dead. Middle Americans need to become educated as to HOW MONEY WORKS! Most do not know the rule of 72 or how to end the cycle of dependency.
