  • It's because Dark Children; Goth/Emo/Scene are God's Children, God himself created the Black Universe (see my channel), and the Cross Upside Down actually is "The Cross of St.Peter", proclaimed as "Jesus' Rock", it was clear that he wanted to be crucified upside down because he did not feel he was worthy of being crucified in the same manner as Jesus. and I agree with trinitychiq, I myself have goth friends who are straight-kids and loving!

  • Hahaha, Whatever this video is great!

  • Agree with trinitychiq - there IS a church in England with a goth Eucharist - I KNOW someone who goes, and neither is she a kid, like trinitychiq, or myself. Just a tip there little mondayemo - if you hate emo's so much, why use it in your screen name? Secondly, insulting people hardly works when you can't spell, nor even string a decent semblance of a sentence together.

  • you know how to put on a good show i'll give you that

  • I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not a Goth emo kid. I'm an adult, probably old enough to be your mother, with a full time job and running my own household. I happened to run across a website for the Goth Eucharist some time ago and thought I'd mention it if people were interested. Have no idea what's got you so worked up.

  • i ment evry word i said in that comment and just to ad to the record goths and emos are the bigest fucktards i have evr seen in my life and yes i have a lif un like you fuckwhits

  • No, there are worse people out there than Goth kids. Far worse. Some of them wear suits and ties to their jobs, and look relatively "normal". :nods:

They are out there, make no mistake.

  • By the way, just for the record:

The REAL Goths were a Germanic people, eastern Europeans, who spoke their own unique dialect and had a distinctive culture. However, the Goths were overrun by Justinian I in an effort to restore the Roman Empire, and their language and culture eventually disintegrated.

  • No no...there is a church in England that does a Gothic Eucharist...if the Goth thing draws certain people closer to Christ, let it be so. Goth people are actually some of the nicest, most tolerant folks you could run into. They are good and loving people. Don't knock them. Love them and welcome them.

  • is that true???

  • Comment removed

  • I've always seen Dominican friars in white robes, not the black robes of the Grim Reaper.

  • Dominicans wear a black cape.

  • i have never been witness to more untruths, fallacies and bad grammar/misspellings than i have after reading these comments. wow.

  • Oh dear me. Goth Rock could be said to be permeated with Christian imagery (even unto Orthodox Christian) but I've seen imagery of other faiths too.

Hardly matters except to keep the clothing clean.

  • so dracula is goth? but the cros bruns him

    someone explain to me...

  • it's like vampire's are not prometed in catholicsm but they came up with them

if it was not for the chatholic church some of the greatest horror movie's would not have been made

dracula wolf man the omen an so on

  • i mean promoted

  • thank you so much for clearing that up...your my hero...

  • actually if we are on the subject of goths, wouldnt it mean goths if used in such a obvious way?

  • It wasnt the germans im talking about it was actually before they adopted it, i believe the germans adopted it from latins which they adopted from another group that i dont believe is around anymore, this group brought on a religion that actually made sense, if you search for it and weave around all the fake fachist basterds you will find it, might take you awhile since most people dont look for it but it dates back far before chrisianity, and if i remember correctly was started by the egyptions

  • hmmm you are making no sense at all. Before the "germans" adopted what? and you said from the latins "you mean the romans??" Greco-roman religion had very little in common with German religion. Then you mention the egyptians. What does ancient egyptian religion had anything to do with greco-roman religion or germanic religion?

  • the funny thing is goths came way before christains, then some imbecile came up with the idea to get everyone to switch to a religion he thought would be right, from there all it took were some exaggerations and stories to make a religion and push our religion (goth) aside, calling it evil and what not, if you dont actually know about us goths please dont talk about us, yes there r fakes such as those fashioust kids dressing in all black whereing makeup but thats not us, our relgion is older

  • Older? and what is the "goth" religion? are you talking about the religion practiced by the goths "germanic tribe" before they adopted Christianism?. They have nothing to do with the modern urban subculture known as goth. That's like saying metalheads or punks also have their own religion

  • Hmm...the voice-over for this film sounds a lot like the voice-over from several Jack Chick productions, a man who is notoriously anti-Catholic. If this is the case, it would seem that the idea behind this is to villigy the Church more so than anything else...

But really, we do have all the cool stuff, so I can't blame all you Goth peeps for liking it. I go to school run by monks who wear black robes, just like in the old days. Awesome.

  • Oh, nevermind, I think it's a different voice all together...my bad!

  • Omg you're obviously not a goth! Please stop confusing "Gothic" as an adjective to Catholic architecture and the germanic tribe and "gothic" as gothic literature and music

  • Oh, so I suppose the movement, it's imagery and even it's NAME were just conjured up out of thin air?

  • Goth as a fashion style is taken from Gothic literature that contains horror mixed with romance (XIXth century). Nothing to do with medieval architecture.

  • Gothic horror quite often had Christian morality as an underlying message. Frankenstien, Dracula, you name it.

  • @thuriferthecenser Dude, idd a part of the Gothic things are kinda related from Catholic. But hey, where can u put Gothic lolita, fetish, folk, cyber, victorian and other gothic (related) styles from? Dun think any of those even fit in Catholic relegion <.<

  • @GothixZa

And also, the literature the culture takes its cue from is almost always written in a spirit that is at least familiar with christianity, but also rebels agains the society which found in christianity ways to enforce their rule. Take Byron, for example, an atheist who made it clear several times in his poetry. Shelly senior and Mary, also atheists. And Poe, though very influenced by christianity, he also displayed a keen interest in Islam, Judaism, and especially pagan religions.

  • @thuriferthecenser I know nothing about what makes a genuine " Goth" but I do know a bit about being a Genuine Catholic and can see how someone can be a Strong Genuine Catholic and a Strong Genuine Goth. We would be better in our faith to show some sorrow and solemnity, to never forget the weight of our own mortality, and most of all to not judge others. Faith takes discipline, humility and respect, if a Goth came to my church with as much of that as style, then I would hug and say welcome

  • Very nice video. I guess those people who call themselves "goths" have no idea of the "real gothic movement" of the late middle ages. Most of them are just clowns who want to look bad

  • @uniontupapa Seems U ARE the one who doesn't know anything of the Goth scéne at all... <.<

  • @GothixZa Is that so?? perhaps you do know so much of the goth and visigoths tribes if you are speaking of such. or perhaps you are an expert inj the goth movement of the late middle ages. Are you reffering to the goth literature of the 18th and 19th century "Polidori, byron, shelley, stoker" among others. Or are you reffering tom the modern clowns that like to use that name but hacve no idea where the name comes from

  • @uniontupapa no, im not an expert in goth and visigoths tribes. I'm not even an expert in the Goth movement of the late middle ages, nor ame I an expert in the Gothic subculture of today.

All I say is that u don't seem to know alot of the Gothic subculture of today, becous u say we look like clowns... If u ask me, the reason Goths are called Goths is NOT becous we label'd ourselves with that name. The main-stream did that.

And u know what they say, evry creature needs a name ;)

  • @GothixZa Perhas I should not use the word "clown"

still I don't like the idea of people being labeled as this or that "subculture" Wearing this or that kind of clothing because they belong to certain "subculture" is stupid and that's what most people involved in any "subculture" do. call them metal heads, unks, emos, goths whatever

I love metal and I don't have to wear long hair, earings and leather clothing...

Be yourself and don't let anyone label you...

  • @uniontupapa well then, why the hell are we fighting with words then? xD

We both think the same! Im just being myself. Im not going to do anything to fit in something. No, il be myself and see what/where i feel good :)

  • Very insightful!

  • dont forget all those old graveyards all around the world filled with gothic imagry on the tombstones and the iron fences also the inverted cross is christion.....one of the saints was crucified upside down on an invertid cross

  • Good vid. I've learnt something new today
