  • Wow!! I can't believe Mo was coached by Alexander Alexandrov!!

  • I love Mary Lee Tracy. Does anyone know she is up to these days?

  • @wwefan116 as far as I know, she's still coaching

  • i didn't know mary lee had a daughter

  • It's funny how they kept saying if the competition stopped now, the top 5 would've gone to Atlanta. (Kerri, Dominique, Jaycie, Amy, and Amanda). It's funny because they did go to Atlanta.

  • mohini's double tuck was the best in the meet

  • I fucking agree like there's no tomorrow...

  • "God is taking care of us" Yes I am sure a divine being with so many people to look after is taking time out of his busy day to take care get two girls at the Olympic Trials to qualify for the Olympics.

  • Ummm...actually he was. Our minds can not understand all the God is capable of. He is Everywhere and Everything.

  • @MTVMANN I think i just threw up in my mouth. Well if "he" was looking out for Amanda Borden he sure wasn't looking out for Mary Beth Arnold and Theresa Kulokowski.

  • @MTVMANN The way I look at, in the grand scheme of things, the only thing God really does is help us understand that everything happens for a reason, good and bad. We are responsible for what we do, how we do it and why we do it. God gives us strength to accept it, the good and the bad.

  • Theresas Hair.. is really really mushroomy bad!

  • whats ur problem? gymnastics IS hard work and fun

  • Tom Forester is way too nice a guy to develop Olympic caliber athletes. It's like he can't really turn the screw on the girls when he needs to. He even said he believes gymnastics can be hard work AND fun. Maybe so, as long as you keep it in Colorado Springs.

  • she doesnt look like beth tweedle

  • mary beth looks like beth tweddle a little bit

  • Miller and Moceanu sure got preferential treatment. I don't think they would do something like that in today Olympics trial? Miller deserved to get the petition because of her reputation and 1st place at 1996 Nationals. But Moceanu, who only appeared on national stage for 1 year was sure overrated! It's all because of Bela.

  • Well Moceanu was a silver medalist on beam during a world championship, she was a good All Around gymnast ( she won in 1995). They had great specialist like amy chow on bars but I think they wanted a very efficient girl on every event and Domi was certainly one of them.

  • So was Miller. It bothers me she was always in the shadow of both Zmeskal and Moceanu.

  • I hardly think she was ever in the shadow for very long. One thing she has over them is an individual Olympic Gold medal. Plus, her legacy is the greatest so far.

  • Gymnasts who were injured during the trials process could petition to be on the team. Only the best gymnasts could do this, and both fit the requirements made by USAG. Now that the selection for the team is now not based on rank, athletes who can't perform at trials will still be considered for the team.

  • Well several in 2004 and 2008 skipped the trials and petitioned to the final training camp.

  • i wish she was apart of 1996 team

  • i love mohini...i am sooo glad she made the team in 2004

  • Even better is that she was mostly responsible for keeping the 2004 Ladies' Gymnastics team together emotionally to hold onto the Silver Medal position and not blow the whole event.

  • You bet she did!

They didn't really see her as anything other than a DTY when they put her on the team...but DID SHE EVER prove them wrong!
