I am so glad that I got to play this back in the early 90's on the Amiga. I was given it as a copy but loved it so much I bought it. Still have it here too.
I knew this game as Another World on the Amiga 500. I remember it not having music which I think was better as it created a better atmosphere to it. I also have this on PC version which has a video of the game makers explaining how they came about making this great game. I imagined games getting better as the years went on but not as good as they look nowadays, I remember in the day thinking I was here looking at perfection, I was there when gaming genius happened. Come to think I was really!
@gary72carol61 The amiga version did have music, but it was more subtle and better in my opinion. When watching this I really miss the springy clicks on my joystick :)
@Rheinheld Emulator feature. It basically records the state of the game and the player inputs over a period of time, not unlike frames in a movie, but instead of frames it's basically a series of save-states. More or less.
Typically, your best emulators also have an ability to dump the movie into a video file. (ZSNES, for example, does so by invoking mencoder; I think others like Nestopia and Gens/Kega Fusion use Video for Windows, but don't quote me on that.)

Amazing how many platforms this game made it to. Is there a PSN/XBLA release too?

What's the difference between Another World and Out of this World?
BladuS100 2 months ago
@BladuS100 No difference. Out of This World was just the title they used when they released it in the US.
