JW's insist that God's name is Jehovah. That is simply impossible, because the "name" Jehovah did not exist until the 16th Century.

Modern Bible Scholars agree that the more correct Name is "Yahweh", yet JW's ignore this and cling to the impossible, while insisting that they are right.

That's why I do not agree with the JW faith, even when proven wrong, JW's will not change, but expect everyone else to.

But the claim of the Jehovah's Witnesses (as I understand it) is not that you're trying to pronounce God's Name correctly, it's that you ARE pronouncing God's Name correctly.

Jehovah is not God's Name. It is God's Name (YHWH) + a substitute for God's Name (Adonai). Combining the Name with a substitute for it does not make it any more correct.

And you seem to have ignored my post that said a more correct translation is Yahweh, which is in fact what many people call God.

I was a JW and very dedicated and I never once heard that Fred Franz or anyone "talked to angels." I was well-studied also and never read anything about anyone talking to angels directly. Jehova's Witnesses are not prophets. The last prophets was John if I am not wrong. Their magazine are not infallible like they were not infallible the Jesus's disciples. Many times they question Jesus to the point that Jesus himself had to appear before them so they all would agree that he was raised from the dead.

Even in the past, with the nation of Israel, the Jews or people of God were far from being perfect to the point that even David committed adultery.
