for someone who is a chain smoker, even during training, he's got a lot of stamina. that is why I don't believe cigarettes kill or even affect health.
Yes, its a good endurance workout, and I'm sure his trainer is on top of his game. Sakuraba had one of the longest lasting fights in history. I'm sure good 'ol Saku works out for hours a day, and this is just a small part of his routine. chickboy=numbnuts.
That was a short routine/demonstration of only one of his work out. Average guys who trains would do that for at least longer than 5-10 minutes without rest. It's a bit irritating when complete amateurs comes in and say something like that. And you think his training just ends right there with only a minute worth of training which was only shortened as a demonstration?

Bas Rutten's "MMA Workout" DVD's incorporate's alot of these exercises shown.The exercises are done for about 20-30 minutes with 1 minute rest in between.He shouts the exercises out at random and you do it until he tells you to switch another one and so on.I tell you it's tough but it will whip you into shape,check it out at basrutten.tv

I just tried this workout...I had to take 20 second breaks in between moves-it's very hard..Guess thats what seperates Saku from me! lol

Actually his two fights in the UFC were held in Japan at UFC Japan 1. he won that tournament. it was his first MMA action.
