@onceinabluemoon58 This might help! Apply your eyeliner on normally, then get a brush (angled,square, anything that's small, I use a paintbrush :S) and just run it through an eyeshadow of a similar colour (if you use a black eyeliner, use a black or brown eyeshadow) and just tap/dab the eyeshadow lightly over the eyeliner, and try not to get it in your eye, 'cuz eyeshadows are dry, it might soak moisture from your eye...If you do, just blink it out or rinse with water! Hope this helps :)
@TiggertheVampire P.S......I only use pencil/kohl eyeliner.....but it should work on liquid/gel eyeliner...I know it works for me, as my pencil/kohl always is a bit damp,as I wear contacts. :)

There's a product in the uk called lipcote, it's like £2 a go and it's amazing for keeping your lips on all night, regardless of drinking or anything.
If you have red lips especially, line the Outside of your lips with concealer to not only clean any lipstick imperfections, but keep it from smudging and feathering. just bend the concealer out a tiny bit after to make it look more natural.
I'm in theatre and use this trick for stage and it works like a charm. It also draws attention to your lips and makes them pop more. :)
That is a great tip, thanks for sharing. I have a constant battle with my oily skin and make up! It's a great idea if you can get out and about and film touch ups on the go. Haven't seen this covered anywhere else on you tube.
i recently bought urban decay's lip liner in onyx, and it's clear, so i put it around my lips (on the outside) so i think it's kinda like the mattifying cream.. it works for me :)

@MiseryLovesMe4357 I have a septum ring similar to that and it's difficult when you first get it because it hurts for a few days, but it doesn't bother you any time after that usually, unless you get it caught on the tissue.
@MiseryLovesMe4357 You blow your nose just like normal, just don't squeeze hard...it can cause bruising on the cartilage, I learned that lesson the hard way.

Try Milk of Magnesia, as a moisturiser.. And always exfoliate/moisturise/prime your face before foundation and setting powder so you have a barrier between your skin/makeup?
@trladams78 I am not sure if you have found an answer to your question, but I will tell you what I do and what has worked for me. :) I have the same probleme that you do. So, what I do is I go to the bathroom and grab some toilet seat covers and double them up and then I dab them on my face. It keeps my makeup in place and the sweat is gone! Good Luck!!
@trladams78 so i'm not african american, i'm white, but i dont think it makes much of a difference. I am VERY oily and sweaty also, trust me, and what i do it PAT the face, don't wipe the sweat off, but PAT!!! but before i start sweating i used a liquid foundation and a powder on top of it, because (for some reason i dont know of) the foundation stays on SOOO much better.
@trladams78 One thing you could do is buy a product to help set your makeup. Mac sells all sorts of sprays to keep makeup from melting and smudging. Especially for summertime.

Mmm...gay? So wut if he's the best makeup designer on utube, idc. Guys don't wear makeup, guys should only understand makeup if they put in on girls for runways shows and tv, and guys shouldn't have YouTube videos for MAKEUP tutorials. That reserved for the girls y'all. So do some tutorials about applying black football marks across ur cheeks, and I'll feel better about this situation.

But if you're a girl, don't you wear pants? don't you drive? THOSE are things that were reserved for men and only men should do those things. Now i am SHIT with keeping my false lashes in tact. The bunch together sometimes and are just impossible to reuse sometimes. And mine are $12 a pack nearly everytime I go out and it's a pain. Any tips for safe keeping or cleaning? Should the glue remain on the rim of the lash or should it be peeled off? And does mascara ruin lashes? The Body Shop has an awesome lip line fixer thingie that's like a beeswax barrier pencil that you draw on the outside of your lips. Works perfectly

To blow your nose, take a tissue, place it to your nose, and blow.
Then discard used tissue and wash hands!
I got a good laugh out of that one! lol

@MiseryLovesMe4357 I have a septum ring similar to that and it's difficult when you first get it because it hurts for a few days, but it doesn't bother you any time after that usually, unless you get it caught on the tissue.

i have the texture cream! i use it to mattify my skin and suck the oils out of my t-zone. i'm so gonna use it when i have bold lip colors on too now! thanks

Try Milk of Magnesia, as a moisturiser.. And always exfoliate/moisturise/prime your face before foundation and setting powder so you have a barrier between your skin/makeup?

@trladams78 I am not sure if you have found an answer to your question, but I will tell you what I do and what has worked for me. :) I have the same probleme that you do. So, what I do is I go to the bathroom and grab some toilet seat covers and double them up and then I dab them on my face. It keeps my makeup in place and the sweat is gone! Good Luck!!

@trladams78 so i'm not african american, i'm white, but i dont think it makes much of a difference. I am VERY oily and sweaty also, trust me, and what i do it PAT the face, don't wipe the sweat off, but PAT!!! but before i start sweating i used a liquid foundation and a powder on top of it, because (for some reason i dont know of) the foundation stays on SOOO much better.

@trladams78 One thing you could do is buy a product to help set your makeup. Mac sells all sorts of sprays to keep makeup from melting and smudging. Especially for summertime.

That's not because people were going through the same thing as you...most of those people aren't black....they're making fun...agreeing with a black woman saying she's oily shiny and sweaty. Please let this be your first lesson in laundry and how its best not to air it unless you're at home. So many of us need to learn the same....beginning with stopping talking about damn weaves! Now white people think none of us can have long hair!

Does that sound like I DO or don't have naturally long hair? When black people see me, because they know how weaves are done, they KNOW it isn't a weave, but many white folks very rudely ask me if its real, which I HATE and know its beause of black people talking about their weaves.

I'm certain you can articulate it well enough to have the reader clearly agree or disagree if they so choose. Then just maybe Petrilude will do a video response regarding your dilemma due to the overwhelming response. Some people like to engage and get a reaction like yourself. People are rude, ignorant, mean, and racist. Unfortunately that's the world we live in...deal with it and move on
