  • i don't necessarily think that there is a "best rapper" but i thinkt that there is a higher quality group of rappers *some* of those i think are talib, lupe, jcole, blu, nas, the old jay z, etc..

  • @trevorisdabomb227 the old jay z .. your words lost their value

  • @Ancientbalijo so you think watch the throne has the same lyrical meaning as reasonable doubt and the black album?

  • @trevorisdabomb227 I don't live in the past , Watch the throne was good , Jay-Z went hard on a couple of song , like New day , No church in the wild , Premedited murder ... But it's okay you know we don't think the same way that's all , let me correct my words : Your words lost their value to me .

  • "Niggaz got a lot to say when locked inside the belly of Satan

  • we're livin' in the belly of Satan awaiting trial debatin' on how I got placed in this system. Am I a victim or just the product of indoctrination?

  • "Synonymous with the apocalypse, look up the clouds is ominous

We got maybe ten years left say meteorologists, shit

We still waitin for the Congress to acknowledge this"

  • Most underated and under-appreciated rapper...NOT EVEN CLOSE!

  • shout outs to taleb i'm an upancoming artist from the midwest to checkout my page

  • they cut the last part,?

  • Much luv 2 u Talib. Coming 2 Lagos, Nigeria to shoot dis video when u could av just done it d Hollywood way really shows u r a perfectionist and u r into d real thing. Bless!

  • Talib Kweli at the famous 'AFRICA SHRINE', Lagos, Nigeria BIGGGG !!! Nuff Respect

  • Look at Never Leave You Alone By Twanette Lynn on you tube

  • ‎"we ain't working out until we exercise the demons that's inside us." Talib, that boy bad!!!

  • Veeeery Underrated Artist >_.

  • Your disrespecting hip hop and Talib just by mentioning Drakes name on this link!!!!!! Blaspheme!!!!!

  • What up corporate record co's ? can't give the fans the uncensored music and gonna stick us with ad's to boot? Well sir's hope you sleep well at night cuz your part of the problem with the media today. Guess ill have to listen to the listener uploaded versions of the videos. Please do continue to force feed our youth talent-less bullcrap music tho, Great job posers.

  • Drake can sing, we know that. But this song is a message about everything in the world. So please listen to this and do not bring up another artist. Hip Hop rules

  • baby seals cause they club you to death

    damn that line was hard.

  • cant compare to fake shit with truth, Talib spits real hiphop, lil wayne and all them other rapers just do it for money. this is real talk

  • I love this song

  • @DrizzyDrakeIsGod what message does drake tell you in his songs?

  • @asherty12 ......esoteric teachings and idol worship mostly....drake got a good flow but a dark soul!....talib the man...... real recognise real.

  • @DrizzyDrakeIsGod How Dare You.... Speaking such blasphemy and herecy is the a tremendous sin. Granted, drake isn't wack, he's actually nice... but he's shit compared to Kweli

  • @pngn48 Comparing their content, yes Drake is shit but lyrical ability and musical skill, Drake is better. He just raps about stupid shit.

  • @HybridD91 what planet are you on? lol

Kweli has a rather unique tone though and in some songs the way he writes and speaks it after is just in correlation with his lyrics: unique and true. Sure drake has a balanced flow a lot of the time but kweli's differences are what makes him. What is the point in writing lyrics if you talk about stupid shit? Drake doesn't always do that I'm just quoting you. But comparing them in any other way isn't really valid.

  • @HybridD91 yo drake has a cool voice and is fun to listen to, but he doesnt have shit to say and his lyrics, even aside from their lack of message, simply arent put together with that much skill. All in all he simply isnt a very good musician, even if he is enjoyable. You really gotta have skill or a message in order to be good. lik,e lil wayne has skill but no message, and is still good, but Talib kweli has both, which is why he is one of the greats.

  • @HybridD91 Talib > Drake. End of story.

  • my boy brian thinks that lil wayne is better than kweli...cant stand ignorance

  • I can't believe this song has under 400 000 views while Justin Bieber has millions! IT DON'T MAKE SENSE! This song is fucking awesome!

  • @tveten92 doesn't*

  • i can't put my finger on the reason why i want to listen to Talib all day every day

  • This music is nice but check out music by Kid Dynamite aka Mr. Auto Piolt

  • real hip hop good music with meaning just listening to it

  • Why have this song only around 360 000 watches?? Im a Metal fan and i really love this song. And the bad thing is that lil wayne has more and he isent even hip hop : /

  • Talib Kweli is MAH nigga

  • real talk tha first verse cud be one of his bests.

  • just blaze is a fuckin fool, top 5 producer .

  • This is why Hip-Hop's so damn good! The message coming straight to you. Rather than beating round the bush it's telling you how it is with sheer lyrical talent!

Got so much respect for people like Kweli and just to add, lovin that beat!

  • I think the truest lines ever rapped were when he said "black kids wishin they white kids, close they eyes and the neighborhood ain't like this, white kids wishin they black kids, tryin to talk like rappers it's all backwards an identity crises."

  • @2nbafan3 i quote that daily

  • @2nbafan3 Its more than that, It's so real.

Especially that chorus, it's just what Nigeria needs right now.

  • this is real hip hop keep making great inspiring music talib

  • deliver us

  • Karma's a bitch, so watch ya mouth & wot ya saying bro. Genius. Isn't it tragic that this doesn't go mainstream. A clear message for everyone.

  • Like this if you've known Talib Kweli since Reflection Eternal. Please subscribe to my page...thnx peeps

  • Its not that he busts "oh my god these bars are crazy" like canibus would(to impress&bamboozle you ) its just that what he spits is so true &inspires one to make a difference,he's truthsayer a revolutionary. His music ain't to impress but to ring& echo inyour heart.Fifty&li' wayne might make the money but when it comes to respect they'll never compare to Kweli. He has true respect from the underground. He shows the beautiful side of hip-hop which is not characterised or shown by lil'wayne or 50cent

  • at 1:40 dude in white t-shirt is running to appear in the video :-)

  • ski song

  • Plus they seem to just provide us with enough rope to hang ourselves

  • Is this Lagos?

  • who the hell didn't like this song? Was the English hard to understand? Weren't there enough naked bitches and hoes (and not necessarily in that order)making it clap? Not enough bling for you? Or was the video a little bit too realistic? Yup 5 anonymous dumb asses that confused this for a Justin Beiber video. Ignorance, sheesh!

  • really? 336000 views? like really?!?!?! I'm just sad knowing I'm just watching the video now. Cannot believe people waste their time hating on songs, like justin biebers baby, and lil waynes stupid ass songs, when watching videos like this actually helps us as individuals and helps the artist if they are making money from this. Stop hating on others music, and just enjoy listening to music you like!

So I rather pretty boy swag than chant down babylon. But time is coming to this kind of truth. I have faith. i am just blessed to be able to appreciate both worlds. its a struggle dcatkd
