People don't take this subject serious enough. In reality if you die today there are only two places we will go, either heaven or hell. It is a choice. What is heaven?? is heaven a physical place??........From what I know from my studies it says that we become the New heaven and new earth, the New Jerusalem.
no where in the Bible doesnt say that after we die we going to such place. This city the heavenly one, the New Jerusalem is us. In Ephesians tell us we are His masterpiece, in Hebrew says that we are the foundations of this city, and Revelation 21 we see the structure of the city, we can not understand this with our human mind.

@TubeNumber1USA It is not arrogance to accept evolution and to refute myth. It is the acceptance of hard evidence. Evolution has this hard proof of not only fossils but even more valid is the study of molecular genetics. Even the Catholic and Anglican churches accept evoution. They just think their god started it. I have no respect at all for Darwin deniers, because they are willfully ignorant of the facts.
It is educational child abuse to tell children about Intelligent Design.

The Bible clearly teaches that the will is NOT free, but enslaved to sin. Unless it is set free, it will remain in slavery to sin until the final judgment. As sinners, we cannot free ourselves; this is where GRACE comes in.

Therefore, in your theology, the Father draws every human being to the Son? Does God try and try to draw men to the Son, but FAIL in his endeavor? And where is the discussion in Scripture about "opportunities to respond"? "All that the Father gives me will come to me..." (Jn.6:37). Seems like this is the same group Jesus speaks about in v.44,65. There is no potential for failure in this...

"those whom he foreknew he also predestined...those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified" (ESV).
The one's God "foreknew" (intimately, like a husband "knows" his wife) will be glorified. There is absolutely NO potential for failure. Man's will cannot thwart God's work. His will, will be done.

The term "free will" is not found in the text of Scripture (except the "freewill" offerings in the O.T., which have nothing to do with our soteriological discussion).
When sinners are given the gift of faith (Eph.2:8), they can't help but exercise it. That is, the act of believing is the logical result of having been given the gift of faith.
God does not give this gift of everyone, only to His elect.

Right away Mr. Laurie begins with a fallacious presupposition: he believes that man must "lay claim" to salvation (as if man even HAD this ability). From here, the errors will begin to compound, as Mr. Laurie's gospel is, "Jesus died for you, so claim Him as your Savior". But this is NOT the gospel. This type of soteriology puts all the power of salvation in man's hands, not God's.
"All that the Father gives me WILL COME TO ME, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out" (Jn.6:37).

@rkg62976 @8:40, here's where Mr. Laurie makes his fatal mistake. He believes that: 1) we must believe, and then, 2) we are "born again", or, "regenerated".
But the biblical method is the exact OPPOSITE of what Mr. Laurie believes. The biblical presentation is: 1) Regeneration (being "born again"), THEN 2) because we have been regenerated, we are able to have saving Faith (which is a gift from God).
Jn.6:44 makes it clear that the first work is God's, not man's.

For Jesus so loved the world he wrote nothing down himself nor did he obtain a scribe . If you knew that all of salvation hinged on people beliving in you why wouldnt you make a clear attempt to communicate supernaturaly or even in book from like all the other false religions .Join or die was a brilliant coercion tactic of psychological terrorism (join or be tourtured forever) . Religion thrives by fear ignorance and bullying and psych terrorism threats .

What is heaven?? is heaven a physical place??........From what I know from my studies it says that we become the New heaven and new earth, the New Jerusalem.
no where in the Bible doesnt say that after we die we going to such place. This city the heavenly one, the New Jerusalem is us. In Ephesians tell us we are His masterpiece, in Hebrew says that we are the foundations of this city, and Revelation 21 we see the structure of the city, we can not understand this with our human mind.

It's very simple. Trust Jesus to lead your life, your path, your heart. Admit your sins and repent from them. That's all you have to do to be saved. Pretty simple. Problem is, people would rather not believe than to give up their selfishness and stop doing what they're doing. So, instead, they get angry, decide to hate God or say the bible isn't real. It's your choice, but remember, there are extreme consequences for your choices.

From the bottom of my heart - this is something very close to me (because of God). If you refuse forgiveness in words because you perceive an imperfect heart, God will certainly refuse to forgive you when He perceives your imperfect heart. I'm just passing this along!
