    HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

  • Great sound from these guys.

    Thanks for sharing Jimmy

  • excellent cover!!!! sending this out in a share

  • Love this version. The singer and guitar player is also awesome.

  • Holy crap, if I didn't see it with my own eyes I might guess it was a reunion..WOW!!!

  • great cover here.

  • dude this freakin' rocks man i love this its rare to hear an awesome tull cover. love it

  • This is an absolutely amazing cover, guys. Well done.

  • no-way to slow down....Good one chaps..!

  • This is an 'ok' cover, not particularly great tho. If you want to hear a *GREAT* cover of this and several other Tull tunes, the *definitive* Tull cover band was a band from Philly called 'Witness' about 25 years ago. They've recently reunited for some shows about two years ago.

Do a Youtube search for 'witness' and 'wildwood'.

These guys were the best Tull cover band I've ever seen BAR NONE! (Not to mention they did Billy Joel, Yes, The Who, and Genesis real well too!)

  • Well, you just said it dude. We are not a Tull tribute band. Makes sence they would do it better if thats all they do, dont you think?

  • You must have missed the part where I also said they did Billy Joel, The Who, Yes, Genesis, and Queen, (and did it all real *well*....)

Back in those days, club bands were working fools, and the circuit they played (and I worked in) we played 5 sets a night/5-6 days a week.

So it was a full time thing. But the level of musicianship all around was far better in those days. I'd love to see these kids today try playing 'Roundabout', or 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

  • Not much wrong with that.

Best cover of this great song that I've heard.

  • Recent band blog says Gentemann left group, should be easy to replace. Just find someone that plays nice flute, harp, sax, percussion, and has an interesting expressive singing voice. Stones could probably do the same if Jagger split.

  • He didnt leave. I fired him. He was simply too hard to work with. What would you do if he was in your face time and again yelling Fuck You and telling you he didnt give a fuck? We do this for fun and it was no fun anymore playing with a primadonna. And he was relativly easy to replace. Check out our new lead singer. And one more bonus; the new guy is a nice guy. If you love Gentemann for much put a band together and hire him. Last I heard he is still available. That should tell you something.

  • Didn't know he was a dick, can't tell what goes on behind the scenes from a Youtube video, however, these breakups usually have two radically opposed viewpoints of what ocurred. Post some stuff with the new lead, I'd be interested.

  • Actually, Jimmy is not a dick, unless you are in a group with him. He is a complex and taltented man to be sure. And you are correct; how can you replace what he does? You cannot so you have to go another direction which we did. The sad part is that I still love the guy. Outside of a band situation he is a wonderful person but he is such an intense performer that eventually he simply ruins the whole vibe and good will of the other performers. I tried and tried to get him to relax to no avail.

  • Why I like cover bands;1)They're selectively eclectic, originals play their 2/3 hits, rest is'B side' or attempts at'new'stuff 2)Better musicians/singers,origs are fragmented, addled, and wasted 3)can talk to them after show, maybe have a beer, only way to see origs is if I give BJ 4)they're cheaper, don't feel like donating my shekels to millionaires to buy more Mercedes, mansions, and coke 5)SOMETIMES origs are not supertalented, they just stepped in it.All of above not applicable to The Beatles

  • Best cover band I've heard, may be sacrilegious but better than many of the original bands in their current incarnations.Lead singer Gentemann is a thing of beauty, check out his harp and interplay with guitarist on ZZ Tops "I Thank you". With cover bands ALL you hear are great riffs and lyrics from what were some outstanding groups, many no longer performing.

  • only version i watched all the way through! spot on jam and awesome flute solos.

  • best copy band I have ever seen playing this--you guys should be very proud--its very good

  • Nice work gentlemen!
