economy seemingly was good in musharrafs dictatorship because pakistan was getting billions of dollars with no strings attached as musharraf was serving american/western interests without batting an eye to the long term consequences of those actions for pakistan. Musharaf made sure that pakistan would be in safe hands after his exit, that was the reason he passed N.R.O as a presidential ordinance without getting it passed from the parliament

As bad as Musharraf may have been, I do believe that he was right about the economy.
The Musharraf/Shaukat Aziz years were some of the best for Pakistan's economy, although Pakistan also was affected by the recession starting in late 2007.
Also, I must say, that when there is a dictatorship, in Pakistan, it is brutal which is bad for some people, but a dictatorship in Pakistan is also just....at least in this case...Nawaz Sharif actually took money from the people for his own gain.

I am happy that Pakistan is now once again a democracy now that Musharraf has left power, but also, the new leader, Asif Zardari is in many ways also corrupt as he is the 3rd wealthiest man in Pakistan, yet he made none of that money for himself.

South Asia is home to many races and peoples. It's only European propaganda that all South Asians are the same. The land and people of Pakistan have been part of ancient Greek Empire, Persian Empire of Darius, Central Asian Kingdoms and other states. Sure Pakistanis and Indians need to be good neighbours but they can be different and still respect each other. Musharraf was indeed an idiot dictator but that has nothing to do with two different nations fighting about Kashmir which Brits caused!

Ask yourself why an idiot like Zardari has done better in under 1 year than Musharraf in 9 years of dictatorship. The foreign inspired terrorists and Taleban are on the run, stability has returned to our cities and even our macroeconomic indices have improved. Look up Moody's economic ratings. Even challenges like the energy crisis is being addressed. If a less than ideal politician can do this in 1 year imagine what a good politician can do if we let them complete a term.

My advice to you would be to do a bit of reading. There's no need for stupid arguments if you can't even see the obvious. 9 years of an imbecile like Musharraf proved that a bad dictator is worse than any politcian. Think about undermining a state and long term harm that Musharraf has done to institutions in Pakistan. Read up on what constites treason according to the constitution.Then look up what the punishment is for treason. Musharraf put back Pakistan 50 years. Do some reading first!
