The law should absolutely be changed. The idea that just because the victim and the assailant were related the assailant should get a lesser charge is ridiculous. I don't know if anyone was has thought about the idea that if the assailant has raped a family member what are the odds that somewhere in his past they have raped/ molested someone not of their family, and will do so potentially in the future.

Worst law ever.... EVAR. In my opinion sexual assault should bare a MINIMUM of 20 years in prison.

Oh god that's a horrible law... What on earth would make anyone think that was good enough to create? "You raped someone!? How horrible!!!" "Don't worry, it was my daughter" "Oh that's not so bad..."
